We need an elite ECW Rhyno before he leaves in July. I just saw his interview with Chris Van Vliet.
The last figure was a disaster. We need a fixed up arms and and hair piece and new attire.

As long as his name has a Y in place of the I, it will never be a proper ECW release.
Given the nature of similar criticisms, I feel that this is an appropriate and reasonable hill to die on.

I don't think we will ever get one.
We got that HORRIBLE Elite and decent Basic due to his tag team with Slater and the fact that they were the first ever Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions.....but Rhyno has been barely used since. So I doubt when Mattel is so busy shoe-horning in that same Braun Strowman figure into every Elite Series that they have any time or room to do anything with Rhyno.

I'd love a Backlash 2001 Rhyno. I've settled on the idea that the Basic 81 figure is as close to a good Rhyno as we're getting from Mattel.

It’s one of those things where Mattel has the rights to make the figures, but won’t. When people start asking they that’s when they finally lose the rights or the character. It happened with RVD, Hollywood, the Dudleys etc. I’m also wondering why we never got a flashback The Brian Kendrick?

Watched an interview today where he said contract up soon and he isn't renewing so unlikely to get one soon with so many active on roster who we haven't had yet

Such a shame...Was Bill not a big fan of ECW? We've missed out on a classic Elite RVD, classic Dudleyz, and we're about to miss out on a classic Rhino. There's really no excuse for this.
A black outfit classic Rhyno, with ECW title, and a red outfit variant would make for a perfect Elite figure...Or forget the title if you have to and just do a damn Basic. And if the name 'Rhino' is somehow a problem, they could easily make the 'I' on the outfit look like a 'Y' without losing much.

But seriously....in every Q@A somebody asks about ECW belts and Bill is like "we can do them, but we can't even imagine who we would put them with who we have the rights to".   And for Tag Team Titles, if you can't make Bubba Ray anymore, put out D-Von and just give him both belts:   Pardon my bluntness, but Bill is full of sh*t these days. |

Yeah I’m surprised we haven’t got any other Rhyno figures. That elite is atrocious. I know Rhyno was never THAT big of a star outside of his ECW run and he’a hardly on tv at the moment, but still they could have given us more than a crappy elite and a basic.

His contract is up in June and he's not renewing because he wanted to still wrestle and they're not using him. He was offered double his current contract and he still turned it down. So unless he signs a Legends deal, there will be no more Rhyno figures until he retires.

I don’t. I am more than content with his basic figure. FTFY The Elite was an absolute monstrosity and whoever put those shoulders and weird hair into the equation should be ashamed. It is one of the few Mattel’s that I believe is up there with Jakks in terms of effort and scale. It’s utter crap. Id like another elite with actual reality sized shoulders and a better, older face and more slicked back hair |
