Since completing my Classic Superstars collection I've moved on to finishing up the Hasbros. Been searching on Ebay theres pretty much no other place where I can find them for sale. Im looking for the entire green card series, a few red cards, and a few purple cards. I've noticed there arent many of those figures from those series available. For example theres maybe 1 or 2 red card Bret Harts up for sale right now. I'm not even talking about price if it's cheap or too expensive just the lack of availability. I'm strictly a loose collector if I were to get any MOC I would open them so I'm actually trying to find loose for a lower price and to avoid the heartbreak of opening any of those that have been kept MOC for so many years. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just looking in the wrong place? Any advice on hunting some of these later series down?

Anyway: Green cards (series 11) have always been the hardest/most expensive to find. Red card (series 8) Bret Hart is quite common; I've found at least 8 (loose as well as moc) in a simple worldwide search. The purple cards (series 9) are rather easy to find loose, you can even skip Tatanka. True Tatanka has a variant with teeth showing, but it can be found on both cards.

I'm in Miami FL havent tried FB I'll check it out. Well technically I've completed CS I do not have the 1 of 100s or 1 of 20s frankly I couldn't dream of being able to afford all of those. I have all of the single series 1-28, all tag team series, all 3 packs, ringside exclusives, the short boxed dusty, Hogan, mankind, yokozuna, wwe shop exclusives. I am missing the wm2 ring with cage. I would love to post pics but I'm a bit technologically challenged and havent read into learning how to do it. But yes I would really like to share my CS, Hasbro, OSFTM ECW, Toybiz WCW, etc.

Yeah, some of the molds seemed to have more of an opened mouth than others, plus they painted the teeth when the mouth was opened so its more noticeable.

how many years have people been destroying Hasbros for customs? hoarding them in personal collections? destroyed through fire/flood/other means?
these toys haven't been made in 24 years and the first series is coming up on 30 years old. even if they made 100,000 of each, it's still a finite number that have been disappearing from public for the last 24 years. it makes perfect sense that the price continues to rise and the supply continues to dwindle. I hope that the retros mean people stop breaking/painting even damaged Hasbros for their customs which most times, aren't good. these are a limited resource and when they're gone, they're gone..

I was thinking the same. Series 1 is almost 30 years old. I remember getting the first 12 figures and the ring on Christmas of 1990, then getting all the other series as they came out. I lived in a small town in NJ Hasbros were available anywhere and everywhere. I moved to Miami around the time yellow cards would have been released and never once saw a Hasbro in stores even though I was within 10 miles of 5 Toys R Us stores.

I noticed the same thing with LJN figures as well. About 10 years ago I started collecting the LJN and I was able to find lots of figures, bulk lots and there was no shortage of good prices and figures. Now the seem to be few and far between and prices are high. Figures are rare (at least good ones).
I think a bunch of guys got into collecting again all at once and that hurt the resale market.

I attempted LJNs but when I saw prices and condition. I cant see myself paying that much for such beat up toys. I do kick myself in the butt for not doing what I'm doing now 20 or 15 years ago but oh well.

Alot of people now trade on the Facebook groups, some do a few Raffles too but it's either Facebook or eBay now for your best chance
