To small of a market. These lines failed once before for a reason. That was ten years ago and it’s been beat to death why it actually happened

RSC gets around 4-6 exclusives per year and at least half of them are legends. The legends branded line isn’t coming back but legends are still being made and RSC gets their fair share of them. Unfortunately all of those Legends are repaints. I always thought it would be a good way to get first time in the line guys in. I mean, a lot of the people that use RSC are people like us that are asking for more obscure guys anyway, and we're willing to pay a premium to get waves and sets first. So it MIGHT make some sense. I don't know if that's totally the case because I don't know the logistics of that as well as say Ringside would.

From a business standpoint, I think this is pretty tough to make possible. RSC is basically a small, family-owned operation. The upfront financial outlay on these exclusives isn't insignificant. RSC has to take on the entire production run (Bill has said in the past they need to make a minimum of 5k pieces), so you're looking at a decent financial outlay.
On top of that, the sell through rate on the exclusives is pretty slow. Even when they're making top names like Savage, Hogan, etc. these figures are usually taking years to sell out, and often end up discounted to the $15 range to do so. And while they sit, that's warehouse space and opportunity cost being eaten up.
RSC is an amazing retailer and I think the collecting community is very, very fortunate that they do as many exclusives as they already do. I'd love to see more legends and deep cuts being released as much as anyone. But it just seems like a high risk/low reward opportunity.

I'd support it but I'd doubt that will ever happen. Something I feel would be a little more realistic would be expanding their RSC Exclusives to one a month. I know we've never been told how many they order but the right names, the right attires, they should be able to move them I would think.

They should offer a subscription service if they were to do this and offer the figures like 5$ cheaper if you order for the year and like 3$ less for 6 month. That way they can also guarantee sell some

If this would be a way to get WWE legends like Haku, Hercules Hernandez, SD Jones, Adorable Adrian Adonis, Mr. Fuji, Jeff Jarrett, or WCW elites of Raven, Billy Kidman, Mortis, Wraith, Glacier, Eric Bischoff, and NWO members Vincent, Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton and Scott Steiner I am down for it!!!!!

To small of a market. These lines failed once before for a reason. That was ten years ago and it’s been beat to death why it actually happened It was 2012. Not that long ago. I think Mattel has a great selection for an attempt at a bi monthly 6 figure subscription service. With 1 exclusive to the sub. So 7 figures total. 2020 WWE Elite Mattel Subscription: January- Harley Race ( KOTR rerelease) March- Goldberg w WCW World and US Title May- HBK zebra BCA homage July- King Kong Bundy (rerelease) September- Wendi Richter November- Gobbly Gooker December- Sub Exclusive nWo Hollywood Hogan

there really is no reason RSC couldt have a single and 2-pack exclusive every month or other month. once the line gets rolling, it would get even better as we'd all be wondering who's next? they could tease us with hints, do guessing polls and win prizes. it could be cool/fun! would get us alot of repaints and new guys.

It’s the kind of thing that’s nice for a fantasy on the forum but completely unrealistic in the real world. The demand for such a thing is too low for it to be feasible without massively raising prices due to the low production run - and the increased price will then lower the demand even further. So it wouldn’t work.

The King Harley Race might. I'd almost subscribe to get Race even if I have no use for any of the other figs.

Just when one thinks nobody would buy a Harley Race figure so why make it ... it becomes impossible to find in the stores unless you want to pay $200.00 for an action figure. Bob Backlund is not easy to find. It seems to me that 1st Time in the line Legends available to Ringside would make the most sense. Especially, if people would pre-order them like Red Rooster ... if there is enough interest - you would for sure get your answer and this debate would end.
I think it would be cool if Ringside put 12 Legends that they would like to pursue with a Legends deal ... Put a proposed image and price point out there and give us 3 months to order - after that the price goes up for those who didn't order - then they decide if they want to do it or not. I would totally pay that money for 1st in the line Legends.

I would have to skip them all. I know this isn’t a popular thing to say but I would rather have an exclusive macho man line where they gave us that many different machos all in one year. Many Surfer stings also would be nice
