> On Sami Zayn: “That’s not Sami Zayn’s promos. That’s Vince McMahon talking through Sami Zayn.”
That awkward moment when it's the best promo work Sami Zayn's ever done.

How are people shocked by or don't believe any of this? You have heard all this stuff and more for years upon years.

Even if the specific details are fictional, they still hold up. Think about it, how do you justify having a creative team that work day and night on the product 7 days a week and still have a terrible product? It’s because a crazy 73 years old man who’s always been out of touch kiboshes everything and completely ruins it. He’s out of touch and has no idea of what’s going on in the real world, only what exists in his own bubble of reality.

Vince has always been out of it with current trends.
Back in 2003, when they had St. Anger by Metallica be the SummerSlam song, Metallica wanted to come perform that song live at SummerSlam, but Vince said, "who the hell is Metallica??" So Metallica was pretty offended by that.
Two years later, when they do ECW One Night Stand, Vince gets Enter Sandman to be used for the Sandman, and they had to pay Metallica a crazy amount of money for it, because they still remembered when Vince said, "who the hell is Metallica" years earlier.
Vince has no clue to anything anymore. Ever since Vince bought WCW in March of 2001 you could slowly see the downward spiral of WWE creative. Vince didn't have to try anything anymore, because he was the only one. Other companies couldn't compete because there was no big money.
AEW if done right, can be the shot in the arm to Vince and the WWE to turn things around and get creative again. I think Vince is just bored. And has been bored for the past 18 years.

Assuming the word of a guy who heard from a guy who is friends with some of the writers is fit to take, I felt massive validation reading that part. The first night Sami came back with that promo I knew that he was Vince's mouthpiece venting at the "smart" audience. Have tuned out of every Sami promo since.

At this point HHH must dread guys getting called up from NXT. He knows they are just a fad 90% of the time for Vince. That’s why Tyler is back in NXT. He’s one of the only original singles NXT guys who had huge promise, that has been shut down. Everyone else has gotten into some main event title feud or IC/US title feud at the least. He’s gotten absolutely nothing but mocked. Not to mention Vince made him wear a cut off version of his gear because he had nice legs. That’s honestly disturbing. I get that you're a Tyler Breeze fan, but the guy never had a chance with his gimmick.

Not saying he is world title material, but he has definitely been underutilized on the MR.

Back when System of a Down was a hot band, Paul Heyman suggested they play at a wrestlemania, but Vince didn't know who they were.
Third thing you said is a great point. Ever since botching the invasion in 2001, wwe has become complacent since there is no more completion. I hope to God AEW can change that. People always said in order to compete with McMahon you have to have a billion dollars. Well AEW is backed with someone with just that.

Ugh I’ve been trying to not comment on stuff like this....
There are about a million rumors of what Vince is doing and what he isn’t. The truth is, only those around him know the truth. Internet has taken place of the Inquirer and comes up with any asinine story it can.
I have a love-hate relationship with seeing all these fans complain and b*tch about WWE and Vince McMahon. I love seeing everyone make fools out of themselves but I hate that fans keep watching just to complain. IF YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT WWE AND VINCE MCMAHON ARE DOING, DONT WATCH! Watch Impact, watch old stuff, grab a new show. Maybe try watching that Game of Thrones crap everyone likes.
If I don’t like something I just don’t watch. WWE programming can’t cater to every fan. Your favorite wrestler may never get a push, your least favorite may get it all. I’m pretty sure Vince McMahon has been doing this game long enough to know what he’s doing. He’s been on his game longer than some of us have been talking. Let the man run his business.
Last, I think the man is a genius. He makes “terrible” shows yet you give him your time, energy, money and more. If you don’t like Raw then turn the channel. If you don’t like Smackdown then change the channel. If you aren’t working for him, mind your business. Don’t be concerned with a business you aren’t even in. The job of a fan is to watch the product. Not to be involved in the personal issues of the business.

Whether Vince is losing it or not it's clear he needs competition. Hopefully AEW can provide that.

Times are different now. Nobody with a cartoonish gimmick like that are the main guys. Other than Kofi/New Day, Matt Hardy, and Bray Wyatt, who else has gotten over with a cartoonish gimmick in the last 10 years?

I personally dont buy any of this. Vince isnt perfect and never has been but the problem is and always will be the fans. You literally cant make them happy. The fans literally chose the champions they wanted after Mania and here we are a month later and people bitch about Kofi not being "champion like" or Becky gimmick getting stale or Ryder and Hawkins being boring and bringing the RAW titles down.
It doesnt even stop at WWE either, even people are starting to crap on AEW and Double or Nothing and the show hasn't even happened yet.
WWE is simply catered to a younger crowd and a more family friendly crowd. It's no longer the 18-25 Male demographic that it use to be. Times be a changin

This seems silly, but at this point there is a part of me that honestly thinks Vince doesn’t want to pass the WWE to anybody when he’s gone. He’s trying to purposely kill the company.

The only thing I think that would change Vince's mind is a large intervention involving Triple H, Shane, Stephanie, the writers, and other wrestlers.
It's obvious that Vince doesn't watch NXT, and it's why people like EC3 are suffering on the main roster, and why Sasha Banks wasn't the same Sasha from NXT.
The "learn English" comment Vince supposedly made to Andrade makes sense as to why Shinsuke Nakamura is relegated to the midcard now. Yes Nakamura can speak it but it seems like Vince wants someone who speaks great English for him to even consider making them a consistent top star. Makes me worry for any more great foreign wrestlers.
Combining the writing teams along with making this new Wildcard Rule worries me. Smackdown is already a 2 hour show. The new draft picks and midcarders need time to shine, but they likely won't get that time due to this shakeup bs. And with the writing teams being combined, a good portion of Smackdown will probably be dedicated to continuing a Raw storyline. These shows do not need to blend together like this, but Vince is at the will of FOX and USA so I guess he'll do whatever they want.

I really would like to see the WWE run outside of Vince's image so all the staunch defenders can every week go "This is all just Indy stuff now. I can go to a school gymnasium to watch this flippy crap."
But that will never happen 'cause Vince is gonna get his head put one of those jars like in Futurama and be carried around by Lars Sullivan.
