They're a good concept imo. My only issue is the hideous torsos in all honesty. I'm also not too keen on the rubber jacket pieces, but they work I guess. I just want Mattel to give me a elite '98 Sting. The Ultimate Edition line would be perfect in a sense because they could give us three variations of Sting's crow facepaint (with different hair styles). This would also create the possibility for them to actually fix his boots to more accurate ones, give us a molded jacket and a new bat without wooden texture.

Mine showed up in the mail a couple of days ago. The Warrior torso didn't look as bad in person to me, but I definitely still prefer the elite torso. Otherwise I think they are fantastic. Switching Ronda's arms are a bit of a pain. They came off really easy, it was getting them back on all the way that was annoying. The arm articulation is so much better than elites. I still don't understand why all the elites don't have that articulation. They already do it with the lower bodies, and as others have pointed out, many other figures exist with that articulation at reasonable price points. For people who I really want, I think they're worth the price point, but I wouldn't buy every single one just to have. Probably only Bret for Wave 2, the Nakamura from the elite line is good enough for me there.

I seriously cant believe they picked Shinsuke. His elites don't sell at $15.88 as many have pointed out, but hell, his basics don't even sell at $9.99. Who actually picked him? Who actually put their preference of wrestlers over the needs of the line? Haha! Exactly. My local Walmart has pegs FULL of Shinsuke on clearance for $5 and no one wants it. Even RSC cant get rid of his basics for $6.99. And yeah, I've also seen his Elites at nearly every WM/Target I go to. They definitely need to take a break from him. As for the UE, a much better choice for the current wrestler would have been almost anyone, but I wouldn't have minded seeing maybe Kofi or definitely a Jeff Hardy with and without face paint.

Nakamura's gonna be $12 on Ringside by the end of the year because those thing won't be moving very fast lol. Terrible lineup choice for a brand new premium line. Warrior & Ronda (despite her being gone now) were fine choices. Bret will sell too. Nakamura though...his DM was cool as it was first figure and he was hot at the time. But his future elites /basics etc aren’t selling well enough to sniff an Ultimate release. Asuka with her robe would sell better. Yeah I like all the choices so far except Nakamura. If it looked different from his other Elites then I'd be more optimistic about it.

This line just strictly needs to be flashback superstars only that's going to be the main selling point for it because current one's are just going to slow it up and make the line end quicker than it started

Until I have one in my hands I have no opinion other than I 100% hate toe articulation on a figure. Always have and always will. That opinion will never change. As for what I would like to see in the future I posted a few weeks ago in one of the suggestions threads which was... A redo of a past released figure... Sting GAB ‘90 Soft goods Entrance Jacket World title 4 heads - (New sculpt) GAB ‘90 Fully paintedGAB ‘90 post match (face paint almost gone)War Games ‘91 face paintAnd finally this one. Although I forget the PPV it was from I would buy at least four to display each head. It’s three different surfer Sting matches with four looks in one figure.

I’d rather have Entrance Greats back. Ultimate Editions aren’t all that fantastic.

Who else thinks Bret will be cancelled after his AEW appearance? I’m being mostly sarcastic, but you never know. I can only imagine what Vince will think he hears about Bret being there.

The torso on my warrior is very loose not quite what I was expecting and the added toe articulation is unnecessary. Personally for 50% price hike aside from the double jointed elbows I would have preferred better range of motion for the legs, torso, neck and added butterfly (shoulder) joint.

Who actually put their preference of wrestlers over the needs of the line? When these were planned/designed/sculpted, Nakamura was one of the top guys on SmackDown and either just about to or just had been in a WrestleMania match for the WWE title. The expectation was likely that he was going to be a star by the time it came out.

the warrior is awesome. the double jointed elbows alone are worth it new torso is great not as egregious in person. could be streamlined better. but it's no worse looking than the massive hinge we're used to and this new one provides full movement. swivel tassles work well jacket is sick
cons toe articulation is unnecessary old heads. although good, we've seen them before and they seem undersized. paint work on tights doesn't really pop like the real attires did, outlining needed to be bolder (summerslam 90 warrior had same problem--the deco was too fine, when in fact the tights had bolder/thicker line work

Has ANYONE taken pics of Ultimate Warrior yet? We've seen RSC ones but sometimes I'd like to see home pics/ comparison pics with other figures...

MKSavage" Yeah thanks. Not a permanent spot for it but to give others a feel how it fits in with other elites. UE Warrior is an amazing figure though. Def Worth it. I don’t have a huge 97-99 wcw collection but Grabbed a couple I had. Wish we’d gotten Warrior vs savage instead of hogan in 98.
