I got Warrior this week. It’s much better/nicer in person then some of the photos. I’m even more interested in Bret now but really wishing for a face without the goofy hair in face.
It looks amazing & mine isnt super loose anywhere. The toros ab crunch change doesn’t seem as off putting in hand either but I’m also displaying Warrior with his coat on.
Wcw Warrior has been a want of mine since 98, that said I don’t know if this era was worthy of an ‘ultimate editon’ Instead of just being in the elite line. Still glad to have it. And more interested in future ultimate line releases

I don't know, bringing a figure just up to industry standard for the $20 level but then charging $10 extra dollars seems ludicrous. Other toys have multiple heads, hands, and even higher poa than these Ultimate editions at the $20 pricepoint like Marvel legends, Overwatch Ultimates, and Power Rangers Lightning collection. I can't see myself marking out for anyone besides Bret Hart at this point unless they do an amazing Hollywood Hogan.

I have the first series and if they stay of this quality (not floppy etc) I’m game to keep collecting them. The extra joints and articulation are great and the figures definitely come off as more impressive in hand. I dig em both but the Warrior, in particular, is a dream want of mine so it’s epic to have

the torso kills it for me. it just looks ugly , the straps on bret don't even look right. unconnected looking. you have to be doing some serious playing with figures to justify the price. when most of us just collect these and sit them on a shelf.

I think the character selection is booty. Save me more money and make Piper, Hardy, Becky, Charlotte, Andre, etc.

Has anybody done a torso switch on warrior yet with the standard elite torso if so I'd love to see pictures of how it looks after the swap

i like them but the price is not justified. they have added articulation that is standard in similar priced $20 lines. they have extra hands and heads that are standard in similar priced $20 lines. they are finally doing what other lines have been doing for years but want to charge more now?

Hogan has to be in series 3, right?
Sounds like The ones who are most critical are the ones who have only seen photos online

Hogan has to be in series 3, right? Doubt it. Savage and AJ are my predictions for 3. Maybe 4 for Hogan if they don’t do Taker or HBK instead.

I'll have to wait until I see it in hand. Like you I would like for Savage to be in Series 3 but someone on this forum said it was going to be the Rock as the next legend in the line. Definitely would like to see a Surfer Sting in this line. Heel Roddy Piper be great too, if it came with some of his shirts from that era. Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Rick Rude, Ricky Steamboat are some others that I would like to see in this line. With Piper I would saw ditch the extra hands and get three different heads. Short Hair 80's, Long Hair 90's, and WCW with the facial hair. Like others have said some shirts, I would love A Reality Check shirt.

My ultimate figure is a 96 HBK from good friends better enemies. Entrance jacket and chaps 2 New head scans. Pony tail, then mid match no pony tail.
I don’t think it’s any more effort than the new ultimate Bret.

I'm going to wait until I hear a lot of impressions on how firm and well done the joints are. If they're a floppy mess, then I have no interest, especially after being so damn impressed by the Mafex John Wick, Two Face, and Bane figures. By Mafex, you mean the figures that are SH Figuart level in quality and articulation, and priced like them at almost $100? UE was given a couple more points of articulation and more accessories to be viewed as a slight upgrade for more poses when displayed or played with as the case may be. I think anyone would be disappointed if they’re comparing them to an action figure that’s triple the price. Oh I'm not expecting quality like that, not even close, just in terms of stability. Just because the price point is so much lower, doesn't mean I should settle for floppy joints.

Thinking RR91, WM6, SS92, or pretty much any of his neon cowboy attires.

They picked the wrong people/wrong attires to kick off the line in my opinion.

I'd go for this, though piper was a little thicker as the heel in the mid 90s than he was as IC Champion or in WCW so the body mold may not look right. But if they came with shirts for each iteration, that wouldn't be a big problem. I'd also add the red Piper's Pit shirt he wore as well, he wore the red shirt when he smashed the coconut over Snuka's head and when Andre lifted him up out of his chair. For WCW they could do either the I.C.O.N. or Reality Check T-shirt, or they could do the molded jacket torso with an extra pair of arms for the times he wore his leather jacket.

A cowboy hat/tassel jacket 1992 ish? I think Mattel has covered his entire WWF/WCW era looks (IC Champ, First WWF Champion Run, Macho King, Second WWF Champion Run, WCW, NWO, late WCW run), so if they were to do a Macho Man (or Macho King), it would probably be best to do one of his attires with the most deco (one that they could do in the regular elite line because of the cost). Also, add multiple heads, hands, maybe a molded jacket torso with extra arms, etc. Personally I would like some of his more colorful Macho King attires (WM6, SSL90, RR91, etc.) or some of the very colorful attires he wore as an announcer in 1991 and again in 1993/94 that would probably be the way to go. I guess the other option would be to do a very generic 1986-1988 Macho Man and put all the deco money into a few of his robes from that time frame.

RR91 is my top want right now (out of guys who have already been made).

Are these going to hit retail stores or just be ringside exclusives?

It's a cool idea but I really hope it doesn't mean we're not going to be seeing the same guys in the same attires in the regular Elite line.
