I don't buy much from amazon but I still remember my very first ebay purchase it was the CS Jakks Roddy Piper figure, I misplaced the "." in 5.00 so entered a bid of £500 and was unaware I could retract the bid luckily it didn't get too pricey and I think I won it for about 6 quid posted.

Bought a lot of stuff from eBay in the early 2000s with my dad's account. But when I got my first credit card for Christmas in 2012 I picked this up. Damn figures leg ball joint broke off a year after having it.

I bought the Godfather and PES for the PS2, two books, and a CD in November 2006. I started my first job in the September and it was my first pay packet. I remember it arriving, all packed together too. Exciting and simpler times! Cool feature. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

As embarrassing as this was, it was an MP3 version of Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream album. In my defense, it was $3 and I was in high school.

I was super late to the game compared to many of you... first order was in 2010 and it was 4 boxes of Waffle Crisp, my then-wife's favorite cereal. After that came in like 2 days, I went ahead and ordered about 10 of the new Mattel figures.

Thinking about it, I don't even think I ever heard of Amazon until way way way way later. First online purchase I ever made was like eBay in 1997 or something. I feel like I never ordered from Amazon until like the mid, late 00s.

November 2008
How I Met Your Mother - The Bro Code (By Barney Stinson)
I still have it around here somewhere, along with its two sequels. "Bro On The Go" I lent to someone and it came back with a stab wound. Never forget that. I shouted "Why did you stab my book!?" Weirdness.

I remember getting Smackdown 2 on PlayStation back in 2000. I think that was amazon through Toys R Us at the time. First purchase i can find recorded on Amazon though was in 2004 for CS1 Bret Hart, Andre & Ultimate Warrior. 11.99 a figure. Man those were the days.

I see this was started a long time ago but this is a great thread idea.
I would have been certain my first purchase was a book since that's how Amazon started, but it turns out my first purchase was four McFarlane NHL Sportspicks (Alexander Mogilny, Joe Sakic, and two Andrew Raycrofts, which were to customize into Ryan Miller).
