This guy on UK ebay has come across my radar a few times given the things he is listing and wanted to get people's views
He has a host of LJN, Hasbro, Galoob and WWE retro error cards that he is selling for very big prices. Most notably a UK exclusive Luger on US card, a Dynamite kid LJN on Jim Brunzell card, a Hasbro Anvil on Warlord card and a Hasbro Billy Gunn on Bart Gunn card.
Whilst some of his items are definitely legit - Galoob Dustin, Brutus 2 etc. because the cards are unique, I do have suspicions about some of the other items. The pictures don't show obvious signs of tampering but none of them look clean.
Just wondering if anyone knows him or has acquired things from him that can vouch for the authenticity.

I would guess BS on most of those. I have watched youtube videos about removing and resealing bubbles (because I wanted to try to do it for custom cardbacks). Looks like you can dissolve glue and do a clean bubble remove and then reseal if you know how to do it.
I know the Smoking Gunns have been seen on swapped cards. Never heard of Anvil/Warlord. Are Mattel retros known to exist like that?

The error carded figures look legit. It was the seller's bagged figures with warning stickers, I thought were fishy. I owned a similar Galoob Luger error and have seen a few over the past decade like that. Didn't own the Anvil/Warlord piece but they are from the same series, so it's probably not a custom. As to the 2 Retros, I'd pick them up if they were a lot cheaper for my collection. I have several miscarded Retros, not easy to get.
