Ra series 7 as a whole. That garbage Orton, Matt and Jericho had only half their Pants painted, Kane had no glove, Benoit - the toothless aggression, and Brock in street clothes for the second time and no tattoos

Nothing was worse then when they put TTL arms on RA bodies

Those last few 2009 TRU WM sets (with the wooden background, as seen with the infamous HBK/Taker 2-pack) were horrendous. Re-releases and half-assed figures up the wazoo. There's also a few of those Best Of figures that had plain t-shirts (Orton, Cena) that looked so bad. Any high-res pictures of those or Naked Mark Henry would be appreciated .

Mark Henry kinda, sorta wore the same outfit on the Raw hosted by the Hot Tub Time Machine guys

Seeing as how this board isn’t as active now, and since the Classic Botch thread did pretty well, I thought I’d start this for the newer members. I know a lot of this has been talked about before (TTL La Resistance arms, I’m looking at you), but I thought it’d be cool to talk about some old school Ruthless Aggression figures again. Post a picture, or just your overall opinions of what you think was one of the worst (or best, if you want too) RA figures. I’ll start! The RA Series 7 Kane for me is one of the worst figures Jakks ever done. The proto didn’t look too bad, with the glove and arm chain thing he wore, but the headscan is terrible and to me it’s probably the most rushed figure of all time just to capitalise on his unmasking. What has shocked me is the fact that so many of you have overlooked this given how meticulous to detail a lot of you are about this figure...... WHERE IS THE BARBED WIRE ON HIS PANTS?! Complete wrong design on the tights post unmasking. When he started to wrestle shirtless he had the barbed wire design. Never once did he wrestle topless with the red straps on his leg. So this figure was a lame attempt of a mix of eras.....to me it looks like an attempt to release a Kane circa SummerSlam 2003 then by the time this was released (February/March 2004?) where Kane wrestled topless by that point for 6 month (Unforgiven 2003) Jakks just thought oh it put a Brock torso on him and get it out. We were all excited for this given it was the first bald Kane but what a disappointment it was looking back.

RA22 Torrie Wilson has got to be high on the list. The attire was plain, every paint app on the lips was botched, the legs were painted half way! That was the laziest job Jakks did. Literally you have to keep the leg warmers on at all times, if not the leg paint cuts off. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea.
Tbh I feel like Mattel is wanting to go there lol. The Basic paint choices have been sketchy lately.

My take was always, even when I was 11, was that they just wanted to get rid of that Kane mold. Figure was so disappointing, didn't even look like him facially, such a neutral expression. I'd have gladly taken this scan on an RA5 Kane over this. Even if his strapped attire was different by Bad Blood 2003.

I suppose any releases towards the end of the line are kind of excusable, Jakks pushing out for the final pennies whilst they could.

The first few Johnny Nitro figures. They gave him the SHW torso, I guess to make him look different from Mercury and because he was the bigger guy in real life (but of course still lean and ripped). He just looks fat and puffy. Any of y'all remember the first Matt Striker figure? First of all, that head is blocky and terrible. Secondly, the skin tone on the legs is simply busted. Completely different color, you can even see it here on this picture. I remember that the legs even felt different on the actual figure, like they had an extra thick or bad patch of paint or something. Terrible stuff. First of all, the Cena jean shorts and sneakers mold. No. Always hated that. Paul's hair was way longer by the time they started wearing the Hooliganz gear. Secondly, the fact that they skimped on Paul's details to the point that he didn't even match the Kendrick they put out later.
