Seeing as how this board isn’t as active now, and since the Classic Botch thread did pretty well, I thought I’d start this for the newer members. I know a lot of this has been talked about before (TTL La Resistance arms, I’m looking at you), but I thought it’d be cool to talk about some old school Ruthless Aggression figures again. Post a picture, or just your overall opinions of what you think was one of the worst (or best, if you want too) RA figures. I’ll start! The RA Series 7 Kane for me is one of the worst figures Jakks ever done. The proto didn’t look too bad, with the glove and arm chain thing he wore, but the headscan is terrible and to me it’s probably the most rushed figure of all time just to capitalise on his unmasking.

I don’t know if you would call Royal Rumble Mark Henry a botch or just them giving up.

My little cousin had that Kane figure and even back then I remember thinking how crappy it was. Jakks did a lot of good with the WWF/WWE line, but they did a lot of bad as well. The little girl with the curl.

Royal Rumble 2009 Mark Henry. Jakks cashed in at that point and was trying to sabotage WWE with shiitty figures.

Amazingly they managed to release a much worse Kane in RA9 which was a rerelease of RA7 minus the right paint deco on the tights lol. The biggest beef I have is RA22 Kurt Angle (his greatest figure ever IMO) not having any back deco, but rereleasing R-3 Big Show in RA8.5 was a big wtf too.

Why did they give Kane a bedpan? I'm gonna be completely honest with you, when I was a young lad I thought that was Jakks way of giving us a towel without it being a towel because it just so happened to fit perfectly on that Kanes head. I'm completely wrong, but when I was a kid that's what I thought!

Perhaps it was Jakks' subtle way of saying "This figure is a piece of crap." Or you could re-mask this shameful figure with a bedpan, to help it hide its failure.

Who's been changing oil all day? A-Train's been changing oil all day! He's workin' hard to make sure you don't spend more time than absolutely necessary at your Valvoline Instant Oil Change. Seriously, I shudder every time I see this figure. Jakks usually did a decent job with chest hair, but they went a little overboard here, I felt. Again, a subtle message from Jakks, where they include a trash can with this figure.

I remember being so pissed when I got this it was the first time I preordered a figure based off a prototype image. At least it had details on the trunks and later on had stuff for a fix up I think RA series 9 was way worse.

I'm not gonna lie, I always loved when they tweaked attires or even cheaped out. I don't know why but it always seemed cool for me
