Been seeing sellers with 0 or low feedback posting Retro lots after legit ones sell. These scammers are based out of China. I try and report them as soon as they pop up but a decent amount of buyers have been ripped off and will have to try and get their money back.
You think that if it was too good to be true,a buyer would know but there are those who don't. My good deed for the day.

That's awful. I Won't purchase anything from China off the bay. 99.9 percent of the time it's stolen.

Buying toys online isn't popular in China and many parts of Asia because there's a good chance what people will get in the mail is counterfeit, defective or stolen

I can understand trying to sell an unreleased item over and over, but Retros ? kinda a heads up for buyers overall to do their research for any listings too good to be true. Only take a few minutes to look at completed/sold listings.

I notice the same with Hasbros. Usually I notice right away that it's stolen pics from a legit listing that ended recently.

I notice that a lot of chinese seller's will sell NECA figures here and pose that they're UK or Irish based seller until you read the whole listings.
I don't buy NECAs on ebay as a result of this.

If you have zero feedback rating doesnt ebay/paypal hold your money until there's proof that the buyer received the item? Its always been that way for me and people i know when starting a new selling account

Don't blame you. Makes me wonder what eBay does to combat this? It's even worse trying to buy replica belts where sellers are allowed to say they're from the states, then you see the profile and find out they're in the Middle East.

Ebay has never done anything about scammers and theives and they never will. You can report these scumbags all you want. Nothing will ever be done.

A good idea is to check the feedback. If you're unsure, check it and usually it's super easy to determine a chinese seller as their english is not good at all on the feedback (especially on negative ones).

The ONLY things not KO's from China are the Packaged Marvel Legends exclusives or the expensive price point action figures that are from the collector shops NOT in the factory cities. As those places normally get Hasbro product LEGIT due to distribution. Now Mattel operates differently. Plus, with the Hasbro figs like legends. You'll pay a pretty sizable markup to get them early from these places. As these are legit stores.
