Has been Saudi Champion for over a year. Is the title gonna be defended orrr? I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have it defended at all the events they have lined up for over there. I guess he’s just gonna hold the title until the day he dies

I just see it as the Andre Battle Royal trophy really-only in belt form. Since he won it in the Greatest Royal Rumble match I could only see him defending it by entering the Rumble again to try and keep it, but I honestly wouldn't really care. The title is really just a joke to me and I'd rather they just do something meaningful with Braun when they get back home.

Strowman is this the new version of Big Show. Big guy with talent, booked terribly and flip flops on being a face to heel. Belt is like a trophy. Maybe they will show it again ?

I just assumed it was more/less a trophy since he was the first.

Saudi Champion? Ok then. It was the prize for winning the Greatest Royal Rumble match. That's all.

The belt was then defended and the prince beat strowman in the back with the oil money finger poke of millions of dollars and won.

Did anyone seriously think the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Championship was actually going to be a thing?

it not a title thats meant to be defended just a prize. to me they should have just given a trophy. that belt design was really nice too

Did anyone seriously think the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Championship was actually going to be a thing? I thought it would be something they do at the shows they have to put on there where whoever is champion defends it. I’m guessing the King wanted to keep the belt and WWE didn’t want to make another lol so it went down the drain

Yeah that was just in place of a trophy. They should have just used a trophy imo.

The real question: when is Mattel gonna make with it? If we can't get a cloth shirt with one of the 10 Elites he gets per year, one would think we could get that belt at least.

I guess he’s just gonna hold the title until the day he dies I think that championship belt is more of a trophy than a title. It was presented to him as being the prize for winning that Royal Rumble. It's similar to the early days of the UFC. UFC used to have ppv events, and in the event they had a tournament. The winner of the tournament got a championship belt. Dan Severn won the first such belt for winning the tournament in UFC 5. Dan didn't need to defend the belt because it was awarded to him for winning the tournament. Such is the belt that was given to Braun. It's not a title to be defended. It's just a championship belt to reward him for winning the rumble.
