It's a shame they couldn't have put out that last series with Smash, Barbarian, Brother Love, The Bushwhackers & The Genius. Were there any more scheduled or rumored after this?

Did you guys see Zack Ryder post a pic of a Killer Khan figure made from the original mold? Apparently he was scrapped last minute from the '88 series. I also saw that he now has the Mean Gene prototype. I guess message boards like this are passe since it's all over every other social media platform, but DAMN those are incredible finds. Especially Killer Khan. I didn't even know he was officially in any series (though felt he should have been). I'll let him post the pics here if he chooses to, but you all can find 'em elsewhere if you search. It's amazing!

It's amazing! The lead designer from the line did an interview with the Fully Poseable podcast guys last summer and said they had Killer Khan all but finished when WWF had him pulled from the line. So I knew it was probably out there sonewhere. I'm glad Matt Cardona did the legwork, made the right offer, and got a great looking piece to show off. Sadly, this guy from LJN and his team didn't work on those tail enders that didn't come out, so it's anybody's guess on if there even ever were protos of Smash, Brother Love, Bad News, etc. As far as I know no one has ever even identified who worked on those.

I listened to that interview but must have completely missed or forgot about KK. It would be so wild if the final series ever came to light.

Yep spot on. Bill mentioned that in the interview. I cannot find out who did the Series 6 figures either!

Custom 1989 Jake the Snake Roberts. Thanks for checking it out. Ten pics in all. The last pic is what it looked like before I started. He fits in perfectly with the rest of the LJNs (9th pic) http://instagram.com/p/B3me7jvAsTA

The Brain thanks for looking. Sometimes I think I went a little over board lol, but every time I go down to the basement it’s like going back and reliving a part of my childhood!

They are still out there too. Just a few weeks back I found a minty Rick Martel loose, I was so pumped.

My antique mall had a fewz all pretty beaten up. For some reason a like new glossy Martel was just tossed in the pile lol. $12 score.

LJNs were my first wrestling figures. I have everyone except Warlord, Bossman & Haku. Unfortunately, some are in rugged condition and need replaced. I always wished Bushwhackers, Smash, Barbarian & Brother Love were released in the last proposed series. We needed a Genius Lanny Poffo LJN as well.

It was hard to deliver the Rude Awakening with that Rick Rude pose! Also, Jake Roberts should have had Hillbilly Jim pose to better perform the DDT.

The one guy I wanted to become a LJN was Dino Bravo. They didnt even make a hasbro of him.
