Every time I say I don't need another Macho in my collection...they make one I can't pass up.
Now the big question - does it go on the WWF or WCW shelf?

Confirmation from Mattel that they made up his tights since they already released E38 Ugh, I hate that..Sacrificing accuracy for the purpose of being different.

When we all die and the cockroaches and Keith Richards are all that's left, they will be sharing Twinkies and Slim Jims. Was he even the spokesman for Slim Jims when he was in WWF?

Most of the marketing promotions you only see him from the waste up anyway. Bottoms mesh well with the top and it looks like something that he’d wear.

Lets face facts, if they reused e38 WFigs would have crapits paints over a “Overpriced SDCC exclusive rerelease with some extra repainted pieces and some slim jims”. Hey to all of you months/years down the road that passed on this that only have secondary markets at $80+! Should have just bought one.

Was he even the spokesman for Slim Jims when he was in WWF? Wasnt one of the alleged reasons why Vince held such a grudge was that Macho took the Slim Jim sponsorship with him when he jumped to WCW?

So some 1995 research brought up this.
He actually did wear the snap into it jacket to the ring.
The tight design is exactly what i thought, half finished. Most of the tights he had with the fringe had different colored legs. Outside of the BATB tights, most have two different leg colors. Looks like they didn't want to go that route, so they kept it solid red.
It's still a cool release from the waist up, plenty of photography charm. Maybe someday they'll tackle the left and right leg colors style. They did it with Eddie.

WCW. Was he even the spokesman for Slim Jims when he was in WWF? Wasnt one of the alleged reasons why Vince held such a grudge was that Macho took the Slim Jim sponsorship with him when he jumped to WCW? No idea. I honestly don't remember when he started hawking the Jims. I know it was in the 90's, but I'm not sure when. Edit: Ok, so according to the Slim Jims Wikipedia page, he was the spokesman from 1993-2000, so like a year-ish with WWF, and the rest with WCW. I'd still put him on the WCW shelf. Edit edit: Or get two of them and put him on both shelves.

Same to the T! Enjoyable the first 3 episodes but after that, blah! And nothing against Ryder but his constant promo-like voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I’ve seen others post the same out there so I know I’m not the only one that feels this way lol. If he toned it down to Hawkins’ level it would probably be better off. Like two normal friends chatting about their hobby lol. It’s almost like Bar Rescue’s Jon Taffer screaming at a bar owner each episode lol But hey, if others still enjoy it then I guess it goes on 🤷🏻♂️ I would pay money to listen to a podcast of Jon Taffer yelling about wrestling figures. 😂🤣 lol I know, that was a bad example!

WCW. Was he even the spokesman for Slim Jims when he was in WWF? Wasnt one of the alleged reasons why Vince held such a grudge was that Macho took the Slim Jim sponsorship with him when he jumped to WCW? Bischoff has also said that the Slim Jim deal was a big part of why he signed Savage. I think the ad deal basically paid for all of Savage's WCW contract. I remember the Slim Jim commercials being in heavy rotation in 93-94 when Savage was an announcer, and mostly associate Slim Jim Savage with his WWF run. But I was a pretty diehard WWF fan, and didn't really start watching WCW tv shows until Nitro came on in 95.

For those who customize, how difficult would it be to take the hips and legs from the E38, and swap them onto this figure? Do you have to take apart both entirely? That makes me nervous...

I didn't start watching WCW tv until Nitro came along in 95, and then with the Monday Night Wars I was always flipping channels and rarely ever watched a commercial. So it seems like he fits more with WCW, but why I remember Slim Jim more with WWF during his commentator run in 93/94.

Just heat up and pop off the arms, head, and boots and swap those out. Otherwise you’d have to crack the torso which isn’t easy.

The WWF had Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow do Slim Jim commercials after Savage left, but it just wasnt the same.

Problem is the skin tones of the newer True FX figures don't match older ones. So you'd have to swap the entire lower body.

Yeah he says Slim Jim was Macho’s thing that he brought with him and he was able to negotiate a separate deal which subsidized his contract.
