Wasnt one of the alleged reasons why Vince held such a grudge was that Macho took the Slim Jim sponsorship with him when he jumped to WCW? No idea. I honestly don't remember when he started hawking the Jims. I know it was in the 90's, but I'm not sure when. Edit: Ok, so according to the Slim Jims Wikipedia page, he was the spokesman from 1993-2000, so like a year-ish with WWF, and the rest with WCW. I'd still put him on the WCW shelf. Edit edit: Or get two of them and put him on both shelves. There was a Macho slim jim ad on the final Nitro so it went until at least 2001 |

This Savage is going to look incredible next to my new hand-painted wooden Macho Man Slim Jim store displays!!  By the way, if anybody else is interested in one of these, they are a new display being used at Murphy USA gas stations. I have corporate connections with Murphy and they owed me a favor so I was able to nab two! They have a hanger on the back so while it's designed to be a counter display, they can even be mounted to a wall! We have the same oven. Oven bros!! |

I would have never known that it was a custom attire - without reading the comments in this thread. I seriously think this is one of the best figures they've ever made, no joke. I am buying this for my office.

Made up or not, the red/yellow tights actually match the Slim Jim wrapper - unlike E38. This thread makes me want a Pepperami - not had one for ages.

The made up attire isn’t a big deal. The awesome jacket is going to take all the attention off the pants. It’s for a Slim Jim commercial look not a Wrestlemania attire. And if you are a perfectionist just swap with e38.
I’ll be ready to order one when available

Is it only available at entertainment earth on 6/18? It should be on their site until it sells out. Will also be available at the Mattel booth at SDCC at a discounted price. Any idea what time it will go up for sale? I've never ordered from them. Will it be midnight or sometime later in the day? I have a feeling these will sell out quick. |
