You would swap the SDCC exclusive parts onto the E38 figure. All you need is hot water and 20 minutes of your time. Put the arms and head from the SDCC figure on the E38 figure, and then put the jacket, hat and glasses on it. Done. And I guess you would need to swap the boots too, but again, super easy. Problem is the skin tones on the newer True-FX figures don't tend to match the older figures. Yeah that's something you would have to live with depending on how different they look once you get them side-by-side. Most of his body would be covered by the pants and the jacket, and his face would have the glasses and hat. So it may not be super noticeable once you get him decked out. I'm guessing Mattel used a proto photo rather than an actual commercial for the attire. I know he wore that top/hat combo in a few of the commercials. The Sleepy Time one for sure but you don't see his pants in that one. |

I believe they used the 1st photo I posted, since it's pretty much exact except for the tights, which I guess they changed to differentiate from E38. Is it just me or is that cowboy hat way to small for that head? Looks like it’s really stretched out on his head. That's my only real problem with it, besides the lack of a shirt. That head is larger than the DM one and needs a different hat mold. |

This would have been a better figure if they simply just rereleased the Elite 38 tights. These made up two color tights are awful. That decision feels very cheap. 30 bucks for made up tights, with very little deco?
The Halloween Havoc Slim Jim tights tights would have been cooler. Casting one leg in yellow with black deco would have been cool too, like the other tights posted in here. Instead we get cheap crap.
The head is still oversized too. Just a cheap and rushed figure.

The lightbulb Slim Jim commercial also shows him with the E38 attire. I’m not complaining. This looks fine as an apparent made up choice for tights.  |

i saw on instagram the other day that some gas stations across the country have been getting macho man slim jim holders(like the display cups at the register). seems like there might be some kind of macho man/slim jim/wwe thing happening again

Can anyone clarify?? So they are not so much made up, just unfinished. The right leg should be cast in yellow with the "fabric fringe" painted black. It was a half and half leg pair of tights. They clearly thought that would be too expensive, so they left it all red. |

But this is something I’m most likely keeping MOC anyways So doesn’t bother me too much. This isn’t the neon cowboy look people wanted that would be 91-94 ish but still is awesome. |
