I just read on pwinsider in their Q&A section that former UFC star Goeorges St. Pierre was approached by wwe with a contract and he said he doesn't want a long term deal, but would be open to working a special event. Summerslam will be in his home country this year. Would anyone here who is a UFC fan want GSP to appear at summerslam?

LOL no. He's washed up in MMA and I couldn't see him doing anything in the WWE. They already have a Cesaro.

He could do something with Kevin Owens, but this is a case of the WWE trying to get UFC fighters who have drawn 1,000,000 buys on PPV when they cant create their own stars.

To what end? Besides Vince thinking more MMA names will draw more attention from legit sports outlets, it doesn't do anything for WWE fans.

If any MMA guy is coming in it's probably Ronda's husband.

Eh, why would he come to WWE anyway? Vince is just about ready to phase out actual wrestling matches. R-Truth and Jinder Mahal traded the 24/7 Title on a golf course this weekend, though.

Depends on how they build it...but I'd much rather just see actual wrestlers compete on a stage like SummerSlam.

if it’s a one time thing, and they do it right, I don’t see why not.
not really interested in any type of run though.

I mean technically yea...if he does it he wants to do it, whether for money or fame but I see what you mean.

He would be the first man to hold a belt in 3 different weight classes if they let him fight Khabib or whoever holds that belt now. I haven't been keeping up for awhile. Dana doesn't want him back bc he's left while being a Champion twice now I believe.

Dana doesn't want him back bc he's left while being a Champion twice now I believe. Yup after narrowly beating Hendricks in 2013, he left as welterweight champ(though that was like his 7th title defense?). Then after beating Bisping in 2017 to become middleweight champion he retired again. He wanted to face Khabib, but yeah I think they said no. What if he wins and leaves again? That would be annoying. I wouldn't mind seeing him do something with wwe, but not a member of the roster. Chael Sonnen doesn't think he will wrestle. He said so on a YouTube video I saw last night.
