It seems like the last few years around this time is a period of figure boredom. For the most part, all of the figures from the last SDCC have been released and not many new figure releases have been announced. The positive in this, is the growing anticipation for the upcoming SDCC figure reveals. Hopefully this year will have many great reveals like last year. Anyone else having the figure blues that can only be satisfied by the upcoming SDCC figure reveals?

There are far too many dry periods throughout the year.

I have a question, with how many figures shown in years past that still haven’t seen the light of day, how excited can you really be for what they are going to show?

I sadly feel like there’s no more bullets in the Mattel gun. Hollywood Hogan would be a big one but other than Owen which will never happen, what’s left,

I have a feeling it's going to be a great SDCC this year for Mattel. I hope I am right.

I sadly feel like there’s no more bullets in the Mattel gun. Hollywood Hogan would be a big one but other than Owen which will never happen, what’s left, Hollywood and you could argue 2000 HHH. Beyond that? It's pretty barren. Even an easy layup like WCW Goldberg seems to have been a dud. There are plenty of midcard guys who many of us would love, but as the years pass and as guys sign with rival companies those become less likely. And unless some new lines are revealed, the number of slots available has dropped off considerably for figures from any era. I'm still looking forward to SDCC, but I'm going in with very low expectations.

I for some stupid reason thought SDCC was going to be last weekend. I have lost all concept of time.

I have a question, with how many figures shown in years past that still haven’t seen the light of day, how excited can you really be for what they are going to show? Are there really that many? I can think of like 5 off the time of my head, with a Richter, Lita, and Hollywood being the biggest three. Refresh my memory of who I can’t think of.

Around this time is when people start to get out of collecting! Then they get sucked back in by sddcc. Or they just get disappointed.

Always at this time I am half "Bring on a heap of new releases" and "Please show nothing I am interested in to save my wallet" lol Would love to see some more info on that Attitude Era Big Show though.

There’s so many guys I’d get hyped to see, but the people I want are probably wanted by less people than the stuff they make.
On my big name list I still want
Chyna Double J Streiners Hollywood Owen Hart (I know but he’s on the list) 2000 hhh
On slightly less big names but ones I’d pop huge for Test Sable Mero Ventura Haku Barbarian Greg valentine Head shrinkers Repo man Buff bagwell Konnan Dino bravo Mr Fuji
There’s actually lots more but this shows they’re nowhere near done for me so always got my hopes up. The 99 big show and muraco were great surprises last time and I hope there more to come.

It’s pretty bad when the figure I want most is an Alliance or Un-Americans Test...

Hopefully Barbarian, Koko B. Ware and some of the others from the lawsuit are back in play.

I think they still got some logical ones on peoples lists. Number one probably being 2000 Triple H. I think they could do another Hollywood Rock and people would eat it up. Hurricane is def on the table at some point I’d imagine I the next few years. Bischoff, Michael Hayes, Kidman, Jeff Jarrett, Wrestlemania 11 Diesel EliTe is one I see people mention a lot, more Mysterios. I think they got a solid list of flashbacks to still do without even signing new guys.

If we don’t get answers as to where or what series Richter is in, I’m gonna be pissed.
