Hopefully Barbarian, Koko B. Ware and some of the others from the lawsuit are back in play. Is the lawsuit done?

no more excuses now really. except for "we don't want them to get a figure made" from WWE.

There is plenty of big stuff they could, technically, still show, but not stuff I'm expecting. I have virtually none of my WCW or ECW wants. Raven, Scott Steiner, Sandman, Jerry Lynn, Kidman, Bagwell, we don't even have an ECW version of Rhino. We don't even have a 2001 version of Rhyno and we never got one of RVD, either. How about a 94 Lawler, or, lord forbid for the sake of Triple H's kids, a Chyna. Hollywood Hogan isn't even a big reveal at this point. It's a " Finally!" because we should already have him type of deal. 99-01 hHh falls into the same category. Where the is it? It's his most iconic attire and we're going on a decade without it. But hey, can't wait for that Ultimate Edition Nakamura, Bill! Hopefully Barbarian, Koko B. Ware and some of the others from the lawsuit are back in play. Is the lawsuit done? Yeah. It was tossed out fall of last year.

no more excuses now really. except for "we don't want them to get a figure made" from WWE. Well both sides would have to agree to a deal which is a major hurdle. Some guys like Demolition probably have no want or desire to sign a deal with the company, where as a guy like Mike Enos would probably like a legends deal but the WWE sees no value in having Enos under a legends deal. Smash and Ax had direct deals with THQ for WWE 12 and with Mattel for the Legends line. So unless Mattel does direct deals again I don't see the concussion guys happening.

I sadly feel like there’s no more bullets in the Mattel gun. Hollywood Hogan would be a big one but other than Owen which will never happen, what’s left, Meh I think they got some, Muraco was a big surprise and someone on peoples lists. I think they still got some logical ones on peoples lists. Number one probably being 2000 Triple H. I think they could do another Hollywood Rock and people would eat it up. Hurricane is def on the table at some point I’d imagine I the next few years. Bischoff, Michael Hayes, Kidman, Jeff Jarrett, Wrestlemania 11 Diesel EliTe is one I see people mention a lot, more Mysterios. I think they got a solid list of flashbacks to still do without even signing new guys. I think there’s tons of B level talent that they haven’t tapped into yet. JJ, Hammer, Hercules, a bunch of attires and gimmicks of popular guys we haven’t seen. I just think now that we have Angle, Hardys, Backlund, some other who were mandatory for the line are recently finished it’s a bleak future imo.

The one I really want if your namesake, a Cornette would be great and my hopes were increased by him inducting the Rock and Roll Express into the HOF. However he is probably viewed as too much of a liability with some of his views.

The lawsuit has been dismissed and there’s a render of Koko B. Ware in the Mattel funhouse somewhere. Let’s get that going so I can spend some money.

Mattel just needs to get over themselves and start signing people to individual figure deals and just give us a line with only them people in it they sign then all problems would be solved with everything

I have a question, with how many figures shown in years past that still haven’t seen the light of day, how excited can you really be for what they are going to show? Are there really that many? I can think of like 5 off the time of my head, with a Richter, Lita, and Hollywood being the biggest three. Refresh my memory of who I can’t think of. Walgreens Naomi, that Elite Natalya, the basic NXT series with Billie Kay and Paige, the Walgreens Paige, and that’s just the ladies I can remember. It’s egregious.

There have been quite a few over the past year - NXT basic 3 with HHH, Xavier, Roddy, Paige, and Billie, NXT Elite Itami, Richter and Lita, and the Walgreens Nattie and Naomi. Not sure that I'd call it egregious, but it is uncharacteristic. Let's just hope it's some crappy luck rather than a sign of bigger problems.

I feel like there are a few alternate attires of famous stars that could be really interesting to see. This is another downside of them not creating more "stars" on the present roster. At this point there aren't many realistic legends left to make, which is sad because I know that there are several legends I would like to see that could work as Ringside Exclusives. At this point though it's mostly buying new stars and custom fodder. I for one live to buy figures to portray my own custom characters. But obviously one person doesn't make the difference. At any rate, I really wish everything could just slow down. As much as I love action figures, the market is oversaturated.

I forgot about the Walgreens series! Man I’m mad over that Naomi. She should have been placed instead of that Alexa. It’s been how long since Naomi was champion? That figure being shelved is a travesty. Same with Natalya and Paige.

At the end of the day Mattel is giving us what wwe is giving its audience. Stale product that no one is asking for except for what they want to do. Instead of Hollywood Hogan let’s do a $30 Nakamura and 19 different versions of the same figures in a top talent line. It’s why both the line and the product is suffering

It’s why both the line and the product is suffering And like WWE, this problem didn't happen over night. We're 2 years into lines constantly being killed or barely even getting off the ground, stale repaints, missed opportunities on potentially hot figures (Goldberg, Jinder), and overall lack of availability at retail. They clearly either didn't understand what retailer and consumers want, or don't have the ability to deliver it. So they handed the keys to the car over to the major retailers, and half way through the year I think the results (and my interest) is as bad as ever. It's a shame, because from a design perspective I think Mattel has been at the top of their game for the most part.
