ok, I know that this is my first post, but I would appreciate some advice. I got the ex's toy collection in my divorce (I paid dearly for it just to get it done and over with after he dragged it out for over 3 years) and now finally have some time to devote to selling it (after almost 2 1/2 years---yeah, I have been busy). he was a member on here some time ago, not sure if he is still active or not, but that is completely irrelevant. I have tons of stuff mint on card. I just got an ebay account and have a low feedback score, all positive though. instead of getting scammed by trying to sell all the high dollar stuff, I want to start by selling the loose stuff first to get a higher rating. what is the best, cheapest way to send a listing containing 8-12 loose figures? I am not looking to send stuff in a bubble envelop, but what kind of box and what mailing service? I work full time, attend school full time, and have a family to take care of, so I don't want to make tons of trips to where ever I have to go to. thanks for any and all suggestions.

You can get cheap shipping boxes at Wal-Mart. You should also put the figures in zip-lock (sandwich) bags as well, plus put something in to cushion them (bubble wrap, packing paper, plastic grocery bags, etc.).
Cheapest mailing service would probably be the post office. They'll charge you by weight, and how far it has to travel.
Hope this helps.
And once you get 50 non-spam posts, you'll be able to access the classified section here. Selling figures (wrestling & non-wrestling related) is allowed & encouraged on this site. Plus, it's free.
Welcome to the site & I wish you the best of luck.

I am talking like jakks, mattel, etc. or all from the same line, year, etc? sorry, I have looked on ebay, just kind of clueless.

Jakks, Mattel, Hasbro, LJN, etc. Also try to include all their accessories. Give details on each figure if there are any problems (paint loss, loose joints, broken or missing pieces, funky smells, etc.)

Personally, I would separate them by brand and mix shelfwarmers with popular guys that sell.

I know of this forum because the ex used to, well, I guess that he still is, an active member on here. so I am doing my homework trying to figure out what and how to sell all of if it. trying to pay for nursing school and recoup some of my 401k from my divorce settlement. I am not doing this out of spite joining this board, but there is just a lot of good info here. I would definitely consider selling on here once I get my posts up to the 50 mark. thanks for your input!!!

I have about 60 totes each are 20-50 gallon Rubbermaid sized totes with MOC. and at least 5 totes that are 20-50 gallon of loose mixed stuff. I have the MOC separated into categories, but the loose stuff is just mixed together. trying to do this on my own as I don't associate with anyone who knows about this stuff (my boyfriend has no clue about any of it). the ex could name every single thing including the variants.

Maybe you should post pics in the Jakks or Mattel section. Many posters here can identify the figures off the top of their head.

This whole thing seems sketchy. I mean if they are his figs, why did you feel the need to take them? Just give them back.
Honestly this just looks like a troll post but I'll let someone else judge that.
