Owen Hart vs British Bulldog - Raw 1997 - Great match for the finals of the European Title Tournament.
RVD vs Chris Benoit - Summerslam 2002 - Wrestling is subjective, much like any art, and imo...this match stole the show. Don't get me wrong...I love Angle/Mysterio, HBK/HHH and Lesnar/Rock...but something about this match just did it for me.
Angle/Benoit vs Mysterio/Edge - No Mercy 2002 - I wasn't sure about putting this on the list because I feel like most fans appreciate this, especially those who were watching around this time. If you look up workrate in the dictionary, it tells you to watch this match. Can't say enough about it. 10/10
Kurt Angle vs John Cena - No Mercy 2003 - Just a really good match that nobody talks about.
AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho - WM32 - I feel like people gave this match crap just because Styles lost, and because the 2nd half of the show was crap. That's not fair to this match. It was a very classy match.
Name your top 5 matches that you feel deserve more credit.

my buddy got me caught up in doing a ppv timeline rewatch. his original quest was to give a star rating to every wwe ppv match ever. he was on survivor series 2008 when he got me started, thus... thats where i started. im up to over the limit 2011. obviously during this time period, people are gonna remember the taker/hbk matches fondly, maybe the taker/hhh match at wm27 (i personally didnt care for it on the rewatch, but different strokes)... so heres 5 matches that dont get mentioned as much...
5. john morrison vs sheamus, ladder match from tlc 2010 4. christian vs jack swagger, backlash 2009 and judgment day 2009 3. rey mysterio vs chris jericho, the bash 2009 2. john cena vs randy orton, i quit from breaking point 2009 1. daniel bryan vs the miz, night of champions 2010
all matches i gave 3.75 stars or better (my star system is not the same as meltzers bastardized system, so try not to gauge it on that. 5 stars are near impossible to get, 4.75 is just about a perfect match, and anything 4 or better is considered superb). star ratings are all subjective, and are far from an end all be all... but i enjoyed the hell out of these 5 matches (6, i cheated, christian and swagger had back to back amazing matches in 2009)

Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior - WM6 I know a lot of fans of todays wrestling will not appreciate this match, mainly because it is slower paced (which was more normal at the time), but it was a well told story between two "all-powerful" wrestlers. Also, wrestling didn't have a lot of face vs face matches back then because they didn't want the crowd to have to choose and it was usually the heel that led the matches. Considering that these two are not know for their stellar in-ring work, I don't remember the match having any botched moments that stood out, this match was definitely among their best work.
Tito Santana vs Mr. Perfect - SNME July 1990 A great match here between two great in-ring talents. Much faster paced and a number of false finishes that had the crowd on its feet. A great match that doesn't get mentioned in the list of great IC title matches.

Off the top of my head, here's a few in no order...
- Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Scott Hall A serviceable match, though I can recognize the issue. Mainly that Austin is slumming it at WrestleMania.
- Rick Rude vs Ricky Steamboat, 30-minute iron man match. Fantastic booking in this match. Steamboat starts hot, being overly aggressive. As a result he loses the first fall. Great storytelling between the two.
- Shawn Michaels vs Rick Martell An enjoyable, goofy heel vs heel match. Pops me with laughs all the time.
- TAKA Michinoku vs Brian Christopher. Most of their matches were hard hitting affairs with moves that weren't seen anywhere in WWE at the time.
- Trish Stratus vs Lita vs Jazz This match is shockingly good. Jazz was a killer and was better than a good portion of the men in WWE at this point. Go see.
I'm sure I can think of more it I really put my head into it.

Definitely these two, always like Rude vs Steamboat, they had great chemistry together - it was an awesome feud, one of my favorites. And, even though it was a gimmick match, Shawn and Martel did a really good job. Not a classic wrestling match by any stretch of the imagination but definitely an enjoyable match. I kind of wish these two could have had a classic wrestling match, I think these two would have put on a clinic.

The HBK-Diesel match at the IYH after Mania 12 is amazing, super underrated. That Owen/Bulldog match OP mentioned totally belongs there too. The Tanahashi/Naito trilogy from 2017 is maybe the most underrated series of matches ever because they were all overshadowed by Omega/Okada (twice on the same shows). They're all 4.75-5 star matches and in any other year would be feud of the year. When I've gone back and watched them they're even better than I remember.
Oh and I'll throw Kyle O'Reilly/Shibata on there as well, King of Pro Wrestling.
