I'm kind of a noob when it comes to social media. Not really interested in it whatsoever, but since starting my pic fed I would like to use Instagram to help promote my show.
I've seen most of the pic fedders out there have an Instagram account for this purpose.
My question is, when I post something, who can see it? Is their a way to post into a certain category or something?
Thanks for any help.

The best way would be to use hashtags in your posts, stuff like #picfed #wwefigures etc. That way when people search for those terms, your posts will show up. Go through your recommended accounts and follow a load of different feds. The community on Instagram is fantastic and most people will follow you back and like your posts if you do the same for them.
Use it to keep your followers engaged. There's a lot of features on Stories like polls, Q&As, quizzes etc that can be fun and build up your interaction with your followers. For me, I've been pretty inactive on YouTube due to uni commitments but I've kept my fed relevant through Instagram whilst I'm away and unable to film. Plus I've met some fantastic guys on there who despite never meeting in real life, I would consider to be good friends who I talk to on an almost daily basis.

Thanks for the help, I've always been an anti social media type person. So this could help engage with an audience and fellow pic fedders alike. And like you say keeping the show active when time is against us. I really appreciate your reply. Its something I will start doing more regularly. It's good to know other like minded people who we can share the fun with.

Hopefully soon we can build it up again to the point where we could do another joint show!

My mate is doing a pic fed as well, a wcw style pic fed, I have told him to come here and join in but hes not done it yet. I've been a long time visitor of this forum over the years and discovered some great stuff just from browsing, that I never knew existed, so when I started doing my show, once I knew I would be in it fir the long haul, I had to be a part of this place. I know it's not in its glory days, but it doesn't mean other people cant help pump some life into it and bring it back. I can see this board hulking up and delivering the big boot and leg drop one more time.

Having you guys on board is definitely a good way to get the ball rolling! Whatcha gonna do when the pic fed board runs wild on you!

They were some of my favourite matches I've done, they don't have to fit in canonically with your fed so you can just do random pairings for fun. Like once I did a match between Rick Rude and John Cena and at the time it was one of my favourites.

I dont know if it's the same person or not, but his youtube name is wcwwarrior. He posts on another forum which is likely why hes not joined here yet, but I will keep mentioning it every so often to him until he joins. He has a massive mattel elite collection. But For the people already here, and participating to this board we should encourage and support each other as much as we can. I must say, it is one of the better, more welcoming and friendly forums I've joined, and I've not joined a lot for the reason that places are not as friendly as they seem.

I like the idea of some new shows. Freedomania and Figamania were cool but if we're breathing new life into the board, something new definitely won't hurt!

I just recently created an Instagram account tonight. I have been away for a couple of months and really never got my fed of the ground to begin with. But am back now and plan on sticking with getting shows up on a regular basis. How do you search for pic feds? Anyone know any good ones I could search up. I figured that’s the best way to get followers based on what I read in this post. Also, how do I post YouTube links from my shows on Instagram? Thanks in advance for your help

"Just get more likes. Likes are the evidence to prove your popularity and credibility on social media. Here are helpful hacks to get likes on Instagram. 1. Post photos people want to see. 2. Interact with your audience - like them back. 3. Use hashtags. 4. Get more followers. through participating in giveaways as a sponsor, or use specific tools like here

Thanks in advance for your help Search for #picfed to find more posts. If you follow some of the bigger feds like myself (@w3afed), Harrison (@fernandogwang) and MDT ( MYDAMNTOYS), you'll start seeing more feds recommended to you. You can't post links in the captions of your posts, but you can add links to your bio. When you have a new show up, post a story telling people to click the link in your bio. That's the best way I've found to redirect my followers to YouTube. Once you gain some popularity, you can switch to a business account and you'll be able to let your followers swipe up on your stories, which will redirect them to your show.

Having some difficulty with Windows Movie Maker. How do you add music to your video? I played the music off my phone and recorded it onto the computer but wasn’t crazy about how it sounded. I also couldn’t see what parts the music was playing in the video. Does anyone know a way to get around this? Thanks again for your help in advance.

Best way to get music is by converting a YouTube video of the song you want to MP3. Just search YouTube to MP3, there are plenty of sites and you just copy and paste the link of the video in to download the song. I'm not sure about the second question as it's been years since I've used WMM. Maybe have a look in the audio panel to see if there's an option to view the waveform.
