I'm gonna echo a lot of what people are saying here. I've met, not even exaggerating, thousands of wrestlers in my life (I'm 45), and I spend a lot of time at shows and meet and greets, and the number of bad experiences I've had on one finger. Everyone has good and bad days, and with long lines, a lot of it may seem rushed at times, but wrestlers are a great bunch, and everything about me is still happy I turned on that TV when I was 7 and wrestling was on and I was hooked from day 1.
As far as Jake, it's hit or miss with him from what I've heard/read from other fans. That autograph looks amazing, to be honest. Great choice of pen. Don't let it sour you on future appearances

I've met Jake a couple of times and he wasn't talkative each time. If you ever get a chance to meet Shane Douglas do so as he's talkative. If Piper was alive i would recommend meeting him too.

Well, I'll see him in September at a ComicCon.

From my own personal experience Jake isn’t much of a talker at meet and greets. He’s in the category of guys like Bret, Lawler, Foley and DiBiase where they seem like they want to be somewhere else.
Don’t let it sour you on meeting wrestlers. Plenty of them are very personable. Where they will take their time to answer questions and such. Some that I would put in that category are Steamboat, Goldberg, Hall, Nash, Flair, Hulk, RNR, Nasty Boys and Demolition.

If it's any consolation, I think the figure looks great signed.
They say you should never meet your heroes cause they'll let you down. I got to spend a whole day with the Hulk Hogan once and I can tell you this, he is a f'king legend!! Generous, full of stories and one of the boys. Was exhausted and jet-lagged from traveling halfway around the world, had people coming up to him all day, never once said no to picture or autograph.

I met Jake in a similar way, at a comic con, was sitting all on his own, I was filming the day, took a break, sat down tried to have a chat, would only say 'buy a shirt, buy an autograph' finally i did and he took off after it, only WWE legend i have met... (this was during around The Resurrection doco).
Looking fwd to selling the photo once he RIPs.... (sorry not sorry)

I met Brutus Beefcake back at The love of wrestling convention in April. Saw a Hasbro figure on his table and asked if he knew about the prototype one that Zack Ryder had. He just shrugged and pretended to go on his phone. Wow.
On the other side of things, I've seen derogatory posts about Virgil over the years and I have to say he couldn't have been nicer to me when I met him. Engaging with fans he was the complete opposite of what I had read and he wasn't pushy for me buying anything from him.
That looks a nice autograph on the Jake figure with a great colour choice, have to agree that it all depends on the day. Keep meeting them and go with low expectations and you'll be fine

I’m going with the crowd to say it looks neat! The pen color pops with that early 90s Card deco. I wouldn’t be too mad over it, it’s a nice piece and something special that you own now.
I’m not a fan of meeting anyone 😂 I’m not really into autograph sessions tbh. I don’t mind grabbing them offline with coa.

At least the auto looks good though. I had terry funk sign my extreme superstars 2 pack and the guy botched his own signature, then tried to fix it which only made it worse and now it looks like a 10 year old tried to forge his signature.

Often it's the interaction you have with them. Some won't say much but if you engage them they will. Lots of people say Bret is quiet / miserable but I met him with my two kids. My youngest (3 years old) asked why he didn't have his glasses on. He said hang on, went and got his glasses from his jacket pocket. Did his pose when he went into the ring, ruffled his hair and asked him "is that better" and also engaged them asking about favourite matches (Bret v Shawn survivor series 92 cos santa come down at the end and he smiled loving it). This was 3/4 through the day too so not even like it was early and he was full of energy I've met a load of wrestlers and yet to have a single bad experience
