I saw Wu Tang last weekend on their last tour ever, that was f~cking awesome. Saw Willie Nelson the next day and that was a blast too. F~ck a metal show, especially a Slipknot show. I hate Corey Taylor so much. Fred Durst was right when he called Slipknot fans fat little kids. I have seen Slipknot twice and it was incredibly disappointing both times. Not to mention there were nothing but ugly mutants everywhere. Best concert I ever went to was Stone Temple Pilots back in 2008 on their reunion tour. It was incredible. Day three of the Boston Terrastock festival back in '04 or '05 is the sh*t for me. Sonic Youth, Bardo Pond, Acid Mothers Temple, the Lothars, one of Wayne Rogers' many band incarnations, and so many other great acts. Twelve straight hours of awesome music. It doesn't get any better. |

I always found it ironic that in a counter culture based on nonconformity the word "poser" somehow became an essential part of the vocabulary aimed specifically at people who didn't conform with the counter culture image and attitude. Relax. I'm just joshing you. I've been a punker since my teen years and to me, it's all about the mindset. I never dressed the part. I'm like Hardcore Mike minus the whole "hardest guy in the room" thing. I was a nerd in middle school; blue polo and khakis but I always cranked Misfits, Richard Hell and the Voidoids, Black Flag, Ramones, TSOL and such. So yeah, I'm the last person to ever seriously call someone a poser. Except Deep Figure Value but he admitted that on his own. Kyzer with the heel promo! xD |

Also, something I wanna put out there because it's a thing we always come across with new peeps. hazarrd and theMOESIAH in particular since you're completely new to the efed world unlike Mason, and I assume Ambrose and Wallace. Take your time with your RPs. When I recruited y'all I mentioned ten to fourteen days to write, keep that in mind. WFWF judges RPs on quality over quantity. The more important point is DON'T rush out your RP as quick as you possibly can. Card went up yesterday, we don't need your RP tomorrow. In the past when we've had people totally new to efeds join up they rush their first RP as fast as possible and post like, the day after the card goes up. You do you. You write how you feel is best for you. But we give the deadline time limit for a reason. You don't have to rush yourself and be the first ones up. So long as you're up by the deadline; take your time and enjoy what you're writing. First RPs are always the most fun but the trickiest. Just have fun. |

I'm driving four hours into a trashbag city in a trashbag state next month to see a K-Pop girl group. Despite my current preoccupation with G-Dragon, the girl sh*t isn't my scene at all, but I'll probably walk away a total mark for whatever they do because that's absolutely happened the last two times my wife chose the show we went to.

I mean, I've seen some grotesque Metallica fans but that wouldn't keep me from seeing Metallica. Or Slayer. Or anyone. Am intrigued that Slipknot was that bad both times. May catch them at a festival this year so if it sucks I can just bounce to another stage. Of course Stone Temple Pilots were amazing. May be one of "those" guys but always loved Interstate Lovesong. |

I know I shouldn't have - but I've really missed match graphics. Kudos to whoever made that happen. That was all me. I missed them too and feel like they break up the giants walls of text that the shows comprise of sometimes. Same with using different colored fonts. Rather then all the shows using that maroon red color, I like to change things up with different colored fonts. Once I get a computer again, I'll be the resident WFWF graphic maker for ALL shows, not just the ones I run. |

The match graphics just made me realize that Cam Nitta is Asian. I just always thought nondescript white guy like most of our roster. Except Mak Cross. I always thought of Mark Morrison because of the song "Return of the Mack". |
