Giving this season another week or so and I may have to give up on it. It has the season 19 gang mentality with the season 15 controversy. Yeah. This is the first season I'm just reading the highlights from Joker.

Cliff likely out tonight. That stinks. Isn't elimination tomorrow? Really wish we could trade all four that will be in camp comeback for almost any four in gr8ful.

Kinda glad Cliff was able to win his way back, but David may have actually been able to do something if he got back in. Suprised Julie even gave David the opening to call out the elephant in the room with the first three out, they didn't bring it up in season 15 until it became way more public.

The episode where they ganged up on Nicole was hard to watch. There are 8 legitimately bad people in the house. Sadly, the rest of the house is pretty useless. Right now I'm only watching for the downfalls. I'll revel in as many as I can.

Spoiler alert:
Jackson off the block. Bella on. Kathryn just needs to flip and Jack is gone. Especially after Jack's super racist comment this morning.
But who cares? Production isn't calling out any of them. Letting have nots eat and sleep wherever. They don't even care. This season is a wash.

With Christie and Tommy knowing each other and also Kat and Holly having known each other pre show and maybe even both knowing that they were each going to be on pre-season it had all the making of a one sided game. Having outside relationships that are a secret to the others is just bad casting.

It sucks that Sam will go down for Bella and Nick's bad play before Nick. Those early veto out a target on him and his closeness to them only magnified it. If the camp comeback didn't happen I think he may have helped Nick see the light during his HOH and target the Jacks then.
If one of the six shooter has to win I am starting to root for a Analyse win over Tommy or Christie after people find out about Christie's relationship with Tommy's aunt and a bitter jury doesn't vote for them. Same would be good if Holly or Kat are one of the finalist, but I don't think Kat would win a vote right now anyways.

Normally I'd be sympathetic, but screw Holly and ClearyOffHisSteroids.

I read the new Reality Blurred article today about racism on Survivor and Big Brother. The executives basically said they didn't like what they were hearing about Big Brother and that they're going to look at the show after this season. That doesn't sound good to me. I don't want the show cancelled, I just don't want it to suck ass. As far as racism is concerned, I think the dirty business of reality TV is finally catching up with these shows. They've always played on stereotypes. That said, there is a real issue with casting racist people. Who in their right mind uses racial slurs in 2019? How do you even find those people? And how do they get through?

And how do they get through? It's simple. Actually vett the people as opposed to picking up one or two real applicant applications and picking the rest off of Tinder and Grindr. Which, some houseguests in the past, have said that's how they were found by production.

The fact Big Brother does most of their casting through Instagram is hurting the show. Most of them don't know the show and only see a season or two during pre-season and they all only get to see the same seasons. Survivor does this some too but they also cast several superfans as well and that mix usually helps out. This season has maybe four or five people that actually watched the show before being cast in it.
Casting people the know each other and not revealing that some may know each other is just laziness. Holly and Lat according to rumors talked before entering the house and had a gameplan. Tommy and Christie are able to play way more risking then they should because they know they have someone that will cover for them. Christie would have been turned on by now if it wasn't for Tommy and Tommy would have turned on the main all since if he didn't have such and in with Christie. If the other players knew that some of them knew each other they would be looking for it more and Tommy and Christie, and Holly and Kat would be in way more danger as they have stuck their neck out for each other way more then they would for a normal houseguest. Sucks for Sam as it seems he had the people turned and he was going to stay but the outside relationships turned it back.

This season hasn't grabbed my interest at all. Usually there's at least one or two people I really like and want to see succeed or really hate and want to see fail but not so much this season. I just don't care about any of the cast. I can't even tell the blondes apart and its been almost two months. Quite possibly the most boring BB cast ever.
Closest anyone came to making a fan of me was Sam but he suffered the doomed fate of anyone not cool enough for the cool kids yet too cool for the misfits. Plus he shouted too much, 'particularly in the DR. Dude should switch to decaf. Otherwise, he seemed like he had a good head for the game, was good at competitions, and could have gone far if he had just worked his way into a strong alliance earlier in the game.
I don't have a pick for a winner but I do have a pick for a loser: the viewers.

Nicole is the swing tomorrow. Here's hoping Cliff survives. He doesn't need the money, but he's one of the most likable cast members they've had in a while. And for the "old" contestant, he's mighty fine in physical challenges. I mean, nothing will ever beat Jerry's 4 HoH reigns and final 3 appearance at close to 80, but one HoH was based on first impressions without talking, one was thrown to him by Father Dan I believe, and the one he legit won on his own was a memory comp.
But hey. Kevin's arguably the nice guy to ever play the game, but Cliff will go down as one of the nicest who was actually competent.
