Just thinking about this throughout the day...do you think pro wrestling fans tend to have more overlap with pro/college sports, or DC/Marvel comics (including movies, shows, games, figures, etc.)?
It seems like we tend to like both of those, and wrestling is almost a mixture of the two. I'd say overall we have more DC/Marvel overlap, but it's close.

Right now, comics. 10-15 years ago, sports

I think it depends on geographical location. To a lot of southern people, college football is a religion.

Comics, especially with the likes of Rollins, Gargano, Mysterio, Kofi etc wearing superhero inspired gear from time to time.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to vote based on what I think or what interests me more.
I think it's comics. For me, sports 1000x over.

Comic book storylines really draw people in.

Both kind of.
As a kid I loved Marvel comics. Now I'm beyond sick of it since the MCU started. It's gotten so bad that wrestlers are now throwing away the concept of personality just to cosplay.
Sports, I love hockey (go Red Wings) and have started to enjoy basketball thanks to the Raptors run.

Comics, but I feel Pro Wrestling has also been gateway for many into heavy metal music.

It’s not just wrestling fans. Everyone’s obsessed with superhero crap.

I used to be in to comics, but I'm more into music than anything. Neither of those apply to me, but if I had to choose I'd choose comics. I collect 80's and 90's era X-Men Marvel Legends (from the time I collected the toy biz figs). I actually find sports largely boring and pointless in the scheme of life.... I'm also from Buffalo, so there's that... Hashtag wide right, hashtag no goal 😣

For me, it's always been my music taste that I've had in common with other fans.

Downstait butt rock? Gross... Mostly pop punk/alternative. I guess mid late 90s had more of that. Just been so much crap since. Vampiro got me into Misfits and Sting into Metallica, but I can attribute early music taste to Tony Hawk games.

Not so much wrestling itself per se, just other fans I'm friends with seem to like the same stuff I do. That said, CM Punk did get me into AFI and The Bouncing Souls. Tony Hawk games were a big influence for my music taste haha.
