This PPV was a lot better than previous ones, by far the best match was Styles vs Ricochet. I'm tired of Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin battling for the Universal Title, glad Lesnar is ending that.

Just came here to see the responses to Lesnar showing up and winning the title since Raw and Smackdown have "been better than they have in years with the new management" and I was not disappointed.

The good thing about Lesnar holding the money in the bank is that he didn't NEED to be on TV every week. I'd have been happy if he kept playing mind games for months and even cashed in at Mania. The boom box stuff was hilarious and showed signs that they could have struck gold giving him the briefcase. Instead Heyman came out and cut the same promo every week and it was wasted in 2 months on a very routine cash in.
Besides that, Extreme Rules was a great watch, ruined by the ending. And I say that as one of the few remaining Lesnar fans.

I was in so much pain yesterday from doing work around the house that I fell asleep sometime during the entrances of the SD tag team championship match. I’ll have to rewatch it today.

My thoughts So Kofi a guy who still doesn’t feel like a World Champion to me retains and they take the title off of Seth thus there goes his “Beast Slayer” moniker. So to me personally those two matches along with the Balor match doesn’t make sense, but it was still an entertaining PPV.

This was a great PPV but the ending to the last 2 matches just didn't make sense.

So ratings are down and Vince thinks it's best for business to yet again remove Raw's top title from weekly TV.

Thanks to that ending, Extreme Rules was a poor show.
Brock won the Universal title yet again, despite the fact that LITERALLY NOBODY WANTS THIS!!
No Sasha Banks return, despite strong hinting last week that Bayley would have a friend to help her. At the very least they should have had Carmella come out to even the odds. What is the point at hinting at something and not capitalising on it? I can only hope that they're saving Banks' return for TV this week for a fresh build towards Summerslam. From her social media, there are multiple elements implying that she's ready to return, and now is the perfect time. To clarify, I'm aware that it's not fair to criticise Extreme Rules for something not happening which wasn't advertised in the first place. But I for one have really missed watching Sasha Banks on TV every week, and her presence would certainly get my eyes back on the product. It just seemed like Extreme Rules was the perfect place for her return, and it really looked to me like it was going to happen. My own fault for getting my hopes up.
Honestly, the ending ruined the whole show for me. Every time I tune into WWE to see if they've gotten a clue, it's made clear that they still don't, and I'm given more reasons to not bother. I really don't know how WWE have completely lost the ability to tell compelling stories. Thank god there are good alternatives in 2019, AEW has really come along at the perfect time. Unless WWE get a clue of how to write a compelling show again, I'll continue to not give the company my full attention or buy tickets. Of course I'll still watch the weekly short YouTube clips of my favourite superstars like Becky Lynch, Bayley, Heavy Machinery, Aleister Black, etc. But I'm not watching every single segment and match on each show like I would a few months ago. Unless the main roster product improves, I'll continue to only pay full attention to NXT, NXT UK, and AEW.
Just to add some positivity and make it clear that I didn't come into this thread purely to bash WWE, I enjoyed Aleister Black VS Cesaro, and I really liked the ending to AJ Styles VS Ricochet. Corbin giving the End of Days to Lynch was a cool spot. WWE needs more intergender wrestling if they want to be genuinely progressive (and especially if they want to one-up AEW).

Baron hitting Becky with his finisher was awesome but I thought men couldn't attack the women anymore, unless its ok in a match setting.

Kofi doesn't get into twitter arguments.

What is the point at hinting at something and not capitalising on it? in WWE's shoddily thrown together method of outside the ring storytelling, they think they accomplished a tease that got you (the viewer) to tune in. They also think they showed that Bayley could overcome the odds without help from Banks. The latter part was accomplished more by her victory than the not so subtle tease.

yeah...great idea to put the Red Belt back on Lesnar so fast. Vince's entire purpose in life now is just to piss off his entire fanbase over the age of 25

He pisses anyone off that has a clue how wrestling works. I think that's his goal in life to piss off anyone who cares or ever has cared about wrestling.

Too bad Brock couldn't cash in on both Seth on Kofi. I can't stand either of them as champions. They are midcarders. Hopefully this will send Seth back there where he belongs.

You guys are so pessimistic. Yeah, Lesnar winning sucks, but it was still a great show. 1 bad match imo in the handicap match. Besides that everything was good to great. Easily one of the best WWE PPV's if the year.

Vince's entire purpose in life now is just to piss off his entire fanbase over the age of 25 12 Fixed lol Vince is just a vindictive, egomaniacal, deranged, nepotistic, shriveled up old fool that uses the whole of the power he wields to bully and berate anyone who dares stand up to him, surrounds himself with a bunch of brown-nosing Yes Men that lets him do whatever he wants, and says or does most things only for the effect of trolling his critics at the expense of the body he is supposed to lead, seemingly because all that derisiveness and negativity provides some nourishment for his pitch-black soul. Sounds familiar, but can't quite think of who else shares these qualities...

I was at the show last night and I really enjoyed it. The only match I didn’t like at all was Kofi and Joe. I can’t take him seriously as a champion. They also destroyed Joe in the process. He is the 2018/2019 version of Dolph Ziggler booking.
The entire arena was chanting for Lesnar during the main event. Huge pop when he came out and cashed in.
Biggest Reactions 1. Undertaker 2. Lesnar 3. Gulak 4. Roman
Also I’m shocked they started off with that tag match
