I'm a fan of his and think he's great in the ring but since his return last year I can't help but notice that he gets no reaction from the crowd. During his entrances he doesn't get a pop at all, it's just silence.
It's strange because he's great in the ring and has a cool look but there has to be something missing that's preventing a connection with the live audience.

Because he’s generic and boring looking. Can’t even tel you what his voice sounds like or anything on the mic.he doesn’t do anything to make me care

His promos feel very "early 90s" to me. Hearing him talk about crippling someone, dismantling them, tearing them limb from limb just seems too hokey for me. I love watching him in the ring and enjoyed how hard they'd pushed him as a terminator, but he shouldn't talk.

If he didn't talk he would be much more intimidating.

Because they first paired him with Dolph and now he’s a backseat to Shane as his stooge. When it should be McIntyre as the focal point with Shane in the backseat as a manager or advisor

Because he's just another .500 wrestler on the roster now

His look, music and entrance is great. He's sort of one-note on the mic but still good though. His name could use more of a punch to it since it really doesn't sound too 'badass' and more like the name of some supervisor at a health insurance company. And I never much cared for the 'Scottish Psychopath' or 'Scottish Terminator' monikers. At the least I think it would help if he got a really cool moniker to add to his name to help build off of for his character and maybe a few good catchphrases.

He's kind of bland overall. He's not that great on the stick. He loses a lot. He has to keep pairing up with other people. It doesn't seem like he has the juice to be The Guy. Hell, he's not even The Guy when compared to the other guy he's currently paired up with. Drew McIntyre isn't an exciting name. It's the name of your kid's guidance counselor. He's neither a "psychopath" nor a "terminator". He doesn't do anything crazy and he has never terminated anyone.

Because he's just another .500 wrestler on the roster now Yup. He’s not dynamic enough to overcome it, and with his size and persona, he shouldn’t be in the .500 club. He needs to be protected more to maintain an aura.

Cause he sucks, his music sucks, his gimmick sucks, his moves suck ("claymore kick" my ass), his appearance sucks.
I miss the clean shaven Chosen One McIntyre...THAT gimmick was great and had main event potential. But of course, WWE had to ruin him with the jobber rockband stick.

That's a problem with most of todays talent. Too many first and last names that your neighbour of boss could have. I miss the days when wrestlers used nicknames as their ring name like Mr Perfect, The Rock etc.

I like his theme, his look has potential....but he’s lost every memorable big match he’s had....being in a promo with Roman is an awful idea right now. Give him a win streak....make him put some mid carders out of action for a little...

He got paired with Zigs on his debut, then ? , then instead of doing something meaningful for Mania, he drew the short straw with being paired with a Roman Reigns right after his comeback. Now he's saddled with being Shane's mopup guy. Not the loftiest of roles for someone who should be a megastar.

As usual, bland booking that goes nowhere. He teams w guys as a heavy and they mostly lose. He cuts a promo here and there and gets an attack here and there but no real momentum. I think he’s great and could/should be a top level dominant heel that holds the belt on and off and bloodies people and nearly never loses. They already messed up on that so it would take a lot of effort to make him seem like a strong top heel again.
