I would assume sometime this week. That’s good news, I just hope they have enough Macho Mans to go around for everyone who was able to get a preorder in EE’s system

I wonder if LOD 2000 attire is the figures he was talking about doing as the Ultimate Editions, the figures would come with way more deco than you would probably get in the regular elite line, plus they could always add more face sculpts with different paint or worn off paint. Yeah, the Road Warriors are going for high prices now, can't find either figure for under $100. They could always update the body parts and add multiple heads with different face paint (maybe even give them the WCW/JCP Tag Team Title Belts). Also, if they are going to do another LOD in their first run, I always liked their WM7 attire with the silver trim and I've seen a lot of requests for their SSL92 attire with the gold trim and gold shoulder pads. LOD seem like Sting to me, where they could continue releasing figures with essentially the same look with minor differences and they'll continue to sell. LOD 2000 and their '97 look with spikes on the pants both seem like good variants. I could also see SS '92 at some point. Bill mentioned battle damaged paint, but honestly I can't even think of any matches where they lost a lot of paint. They weren't exactly known for doing a lot of selling. I'm happy that I have both the Elites and BP (paid more than I wanted for the Elites, but still well under the going rate), but I'll buy any LOD figures they put out. Could throw in Savage and Warrior (like Sting and LOD) for me. I'd buy just about any figure of those made. As for the loss of paint, I want to say Hawk lost some paint in the SSL91 match vs. the Nasty Boys and the RR92 match vs. the Natural Disasters, not sure about Animal though.

What about alternate heads for post head shaving from the outlaws? That’d be something unique and cool to me.

Any idea if EE is going to be able to fulfill the Slim Jim Macho preorders, or did they fly off the shelf at SDCC? EE orders are not dependent on what was sold at SDCC. Mattel sent them stock separately from what they took to the convention for themselves. Thank you for that info. Much appreciated, and happy to hear Macho Man will be heading my way at some point!

I do thank Mattel for showing a lot of wanted Elites and hope that they produce at least 90% of them.
As many collectors say, the problem still remains in getting them. Chase and exclusives should be harder to find than a regular release. The issue isn't scalpers, the issue is as always the distribution. Whether it's case packs/allocation/availability, I have very little faith that after hearing/reading all about the frustration collectors have experienced, Mattel won't try and fix it. If Walmart and Target want their exclusives, Mattel sure as heck better supply enough to satisfy the demand.

If Walmart and Target want their exclusives, Mattel sure as heck better supply enough to satisfy the demand. It’s down to the stores ordering the figures. Mattel won’t produce something, just to let it sit and not sell. If the stores want exclusives, they most likely give an amount they want. It’s up to individual stores to put the orders in and distro to actually ship things.

im very happy with a large number of the reveals...but im honestly shocked there was nothing about a Jeff Jarrett If he’s under a merch deal then they may be saving his debut figure for the Ultimate Edition line. It’d be the only way to do the Double J gimmick properly with entrance jacket, pants, hat, and glasses.

Jarrett is now a backstage agent/producer. Still doesn’t necessarily mean he’s under a merch deal because it’s also been said that non-wrestler employees have different contracts.

I'm late to comment on all of this, but overall I think this SDCC was great! Many great flashbacks, surprisingly basics too, great that accessories are going to be included with battle packs again especially that broken kendo stick! Many great elites and first time in the liners. I am very excited for that Viscera now give me a BIG DADDY V! Finally the women elites are going to have updated articulation and interchangeable hands! The new hand molds in the up coming elites look awesome. Those HeMan inspired WWE figures look cool and an unpopular opinion but I'm excited for the Ultimate Edition Brock figure if they give us the right accessories with him. Great SDCC and if I had anything that I wish were shown or one day be made by Mattel is those WCW championships... And Big Daddy V! alphadeltaxray sorry for the late response but I did see those Fisher Price figures and thought those were cool too! I might pick k them up.
