Hey guys, I just found this place, and can't wait to get amongst the community and get back into collecting, and reading all your knowledge is incredible. Thought I'd share my memories of collecting in Australia. My mum just recently sent me a bag of old toys. I had alot of Hasbro's growing up and 2 brothers 10 years & 14 years younger than me. They got the all the 80's hand me downs and didn't look after then at all!!!! This was the result of what was left. None of them are any good, they've been buried in sand pits, and in Yoko's case his body was buried in the garden and his head was driven over with a landmower! I want to start collecting loose again, and in much better condition than these ones. I just bought a S1 Ultimate Warrior on eBay to start the collection. I never saw Warrior, Andre, Macho or Demolition series 1 in Australia. I vaguely remember my mum buying me Million $ Man, Rick Rude and Jake at a supermarket, LJN bendies were onsale there too. Counting through the series I ended up with 38 Hasbro's including tag teams with Doink and the Steiners the last ones I ever saw. It's gonna be a long road to get them all again, even with the new Mattel ones its hard in Australia....but looking forward to the challenge. The photos I've seen on here give me so much joy. Thanks

Awesome. The best figures ever made. You need Hogan so he can go over those guys.

Your Dusty seems to be in pretty straight order, given what you said most of them have been through, so count me jealous on that front. He's my most wanted Hasbro, but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on some of the prices.

I love to see old action figures that were well loved and played with. That gives them personality and great memories for the owner. They served their purpose well.

Ahoy from Victoria. The Doink, Hitman and Yokozuna are impressive to me. I dont remember seeing the later series at all. The early guys you mentioned were all available. I remember having a phone book in those days After calling around, having to ask mum if she knew where 'Sunshine' Toyworld was and if she would take me. I'd never heard of this suburb and it seemed very far but she took me and I got the elusive Andre. Good Luck scratching your figure itch.
