Revealed they got the license at SDCC. No pictures, just that they got the license.

I am soooooooo unbelievably pumped for this! Been wanting this for so long. Per the Major WF pod patreon, there will be BOTH the ReAction style figures AND a line that is similar to Mattel's elite scale.
I can't wait to see what they do with the elite scale versions. I had some of Super 7's Masters of the Universe six-inch figures and they look amazing.

This was one of the best things from SDCC for me for sure!
I'm pretty meh on ReAction style, but those deluxe figures? Inject that right into my veins!
Also, this might rule out Super7 as the company that makes AEW's figures. Hasbro it is, then?

Awesome news. I can’t wait for Naito in both ReAction and 6 inch scales.

Give me Naito, Okada, Ibushi, Tanahashi, White and I am a HAPPY man!
(The thought of having an Ishii figure is too much for me to even handle so I didn't mention him above, lol.)

I love the prospect of both lines honestly. I have a custom built ring for 4 inch scale figures and it's always nice to use actual wrestlers in it.

Didn't see it mentioned, but didn't they say they got the rights to do a 1981 Andre in this set?

I don't like the look of the ReAction style figures I've seen so far, and that little amount of articulation makes no sense for Wrestling Figures, but if the deluxe figures look as great as these MotU figures, then I'm all for it. Especially because that SH Figurearts Tanahashi never got released. Hopefully their going to be in a similar scale as the Mattel figs, in both height & physique.

I want to be excited for these, even the 4in ones, but I can't.
1. Just on price alone, I am out. I am not paying $15+ for a "retro" figure. And I very rarely buy a figure at the $20 price point. So that says what I think of the 6in line. 2. After Super 7's website, I have only seen them available on Amazon or at ThinkGeek.
So unless they wind up cheap somewhere, these are all a pass. I really wish Super 7 had not dropped their business relationship with Funko. It kept the price and distribution reasonable.

Sometimes less articulation is better Not for Wrestling Figures. Thats a matter of taste; I like my Popy figures and Hasbros. Also a huge fan of 3 3/4" figures.

Sometimes less articulation is better Not for Wrestling Figures. Kids don't like super articulated with the ankle rockers etc which can make it hard to get them to stand or a figure with less articulation he can stand up straight away and actually enjoy his play time with them Aldo even for people to display, there's nothing worse than a figure which is hard to stand which then falls over knocking a load of other figures over at the same time

It's just NJPW ReAction figures and Andre to start, coming in October. "Maybe deluxe later on."
