Yeah on the Major WF patreon later on they were more specific and definitely said deluxe figures are coming after the ReAction ones. Think the Super 7 guy was just being a bit coy in the video. Oh that's awesome! Brian had almost a "we'll see how it goes with the ReAction stuff" kind of response in the video. I'm pretty bummed this didn't happen like two years ago when we could have gotten Omega and Kushida along with whatever gets made. I'm sure Bill will be quick about getting us Kushida and I'm confident AEW will get figures made but I would have liked to have them both in a New Japan specific line like what we'll likely get from Super7. Regardless, I'm past ready for getting Tana and Naito, and my Purokaku Heroes Okada needs an upgrade in a bad way. Ibushi, Shibata, ZSJ, Tama Tonga, bring them all on.

Good. Maybe people will stop asking MDT Bill on Twitter and Instagram if he can make New Japan Pro Wrestling figures.

The thought of hopefully having a couple of 6" New Japan figures is intriguing but have to hope this company hits their targeted arrival dates. You have to pay up front and can have between a 12-18 month window before their stuff starts hitting, if they do the same pre-order system with this line.

I don’t know much about figure lines outside of WWE stuff, so if I’m reading this stuff correctly then there’s going to be figures about the same size as WWE Mattel and others that are in a smaller scale?

Yea if you look up the super 7 figures or reaction figures those are the first ones we are getting and then they are gonna do deluxe figures that are in scale with Mattel elites

If these things are slated to come out in October, peeps need to start advertising. Are there any other conventions or shows between now and Oct that these could debut at?

see this post on Instagram.. soumds pretty interesting but I think Super7 should make a new body for the line. As mentioned above, the Motu Classics/Ultimates body is not gonna be appropriated for erestling action figures in general IMO

Someone in one of the fb figure groups, said he was at powercon and that he was told Series one is Okada and Ishii. Not a shocker even if he is wrong. I’m sure Okada will be first.

If this is true, then it’s a smart strategy, stretch Okada, Naito, Liger,, and Tanahashi out cause those are obviously I think the most wanted big four.

Hopefully these come with IWGP belts. That would be enough for me to rationalize paying $15 for a 4inch figure.

Also HEY I'M ACTUALLY GETTING WHAT I WANT! THANKS SUPER7!

Let me introduce you to Super 7. I don't know that they've ever had anything come out when they say it's going to short of a convention exclusive that HAS to be there on a certain day. Any release date they list is very general. Hopefully these come with IWGP belts. That would be enough for me to rationalize paying $15 for a 4inch figure. They may, but don't bet on it. You're going to have to either want them or not. Keep in mind these figures are basically only available online and in specialty shops/comic stores. They don't make it to wide brick and mortar. Hell, even when they partnered with Funko and these figures were everywhere they were still $10, so an extra fiver isn't terrible. It's all relative. 10-15 bucks for a 3.75" retro figure, 20-45 bucks for a 6 inch figure, 100 and up for the high end collector figures.

Yea I am nervous about the success of this based on everything they have done so far. I just need this line to at least last long enough to get Liger and Naito. I hope for it’s success, we just haven’t seen a ton of multi series success from their lines so far.

They only really went to the well on Alien and MOTU, (and I suppose you could count the bajillion different Misfits Fiend variants too). I'm still hoping for a second Lucha set with Konnan, Super Astro, and Juvy, since they made MUSCLE figures of them. I also still want another Street Fighter set to finish the World Warriors, but I'm not holding my breath. That said, I'm down for anything that gets me a Liger figure.

I can’t wait to see what the 6” figures will look like. I’m hoping they fit in with Mattel Elites and come with IWGP titles.
What a great time to be a wrestling figure fan! Between these and the Lucha figures, it’s really exciting!

Between these and the Lucha figures, it’s really exciting! Someone who spoke with Super 7 said they would be in scale with Elites and that protos should be shown at NYCC. If everything comes through, it should be a super exciting time for collectors. Mattel has covered pretty much all the ground they possible can from legends to former indy talent in NXT. It would be amazing if Storm, Super 7, and Boss Fight can fill in some gaps for modern and classic international talent. I'd love to see one of these companies jump into classic American talent. Guys like Shane Douglas, Raven, Justin Credible, etc would be great in a highly detailed Elite scale. I know they have figures made by another company, but the quality and scaling is miles away from fitting in with Mattel collections. The only downside will be the hit to my bank account.

Hopeful they can keep it together and keep the releases somewhat timely. Long wait for Lucha Bros. Really excited to see where these could go

Yeah... Super7 is absolutely not known for their timeliness. Save your energy. I've never seen them hit a release date on time and I've been buying from them since MOTU Ultimates wave 1. The wait is going to be on.
