Starting to get into custom figures. Have a long way to go in face sculpts, etc, but the preliminary painting work is turning out ok. Omega's bottoms will get touched up when I can get better hi-res shots and really see what is going on with his boots. The pattern is really tough to decipher from what images I can currently find. I was going to put a lot more time into Riddle's head and hair, but with the basic coming I'll just headswap it when it arrives so I did a hack job to get the figure finished. Definitely burdened by few parts, but enjoying the amount of flexibility and creativity that forces me to have. From left to right -- Penelope Ford All In attire, Switchblade Jay White, Jon Moxley AEW attire (Just waiting on a figure to arrive to torso swap for an NJPW version I'm working on), Kenny Omega DON attire, and Matt Riddle. (I put NXT instead of the WWE logo in the middle of the R since it makes more sense for my pic fed.

Finished up a Darby Allin. I will eventually fix up the skin tones, but it will do for now while I'm adding to my inventory of wrestlers I've made. I was really happy with the way the facepaint turned out. The picture doesn't do the black parts justice. The dry-brushing worked great at making the paint on his neck look legit. Messed up his chest tattoo a bit, counted wrong and centered the wrong letter in the first line. Oh well.

Work in Progress Cody. Just have to finish the head. Decals would take the fun out of it for me, I like hand-painting them. They're just for me anyways so who cares. I am pretty happy with the tights on the Cody Rhodes.

Finished up a Will Ospreay and Cody (minus belt, WIP) Really happy with the paint job. Noticed as I posted it I need to touch up the one Orange line, but that's not a huge deal. Head could still improve, but they are getting better with each custom I think. Also starting a better Matt Riddle. I was really unhappy with the first one. Sneak peak at the tights. I am pretty happy with them. Working on a head, but I also have a cast coming in that looks awesome. Also WIP on Cody's belt. Going to make a few different ones, I have a ton of white leather to work with. (Also have a cast coming in for Cody's head to fix my poor job of making one)

Finished up the Matt Riddle. Happy with the head, outside of my ability to match facial features . Thankfully I have a bunch of head casts coming in, including some nice Cody Rhodes scans and a sick Matt Riddle to replace my garbage. Touched up the Darby Allin. Fixed the jeans a bit, added the tattoo I forgot on the back of his neck, and matched the face skin tone better. Still really happy with him overall. Added a belt to Cody Rhodes. Really happy with the detail I was able to incorporate. Made a Toni Storm and a Walter. Again my inability to sculpt a head to match is blatant. Regardless pretty happy with the build on him. Dusty's frame is a bit too big, but making him Samoa Joe scale would be awkward. Riddle [/spoiler} Darby Allin fixed Cody w/belt Toni Storm -- Alexa basic. Nothing fancy, going to do a better version of her when I can actually make a head competently. Lastly Walter.

Thanks I think? I do prime the parts that need a lot of painting/colour change. What would really help is an airbrush. Well, than and some type of measurable artistic ability. It's been a big adjustment going from minis. Washes, etc are totally different at 6" scale compared to 6cm scale.

But in the meantime, I would suggest diluting the paint a bit more. You're only gonna get better dude so keep it up.

Finished up the Fiend and Dustin Rhodes. Dustin was a 100% Goldust for parts. Well, plus the belt I made for him. Pretty happy with how he turned out. The lines could be a bit smoother, curves are tricky with the contours. Fiend was a ton of fun. I gave him a Big E torso (Dremel & Milliput to change the singlet), K.O. arms, Ascension crotch and upper legs (I don't actually know which Ascension guy), and I'm not totally sure who's boots. Found them in a lot of spare parts I bought, not sure whose they started as. Mask was made by BEW, cast from Figure Giant. Had a ton of fun painting the mask. Definitely see the appeal of tattoo decals, but the ones for Bray are too bright, his tattoos have darkened a lot with the cover-ups and additions he's made. Edit -- What a difference a good head scan makes. Thanks to Figuregiant for the awesome cast.

Updated my Jay White. I'm not very good at sewing but the jacket works for now. Clearly a triple H head, but it was actually a pretty good match I think. Something looks a tiny bit off, but it is the best choice I had in my collection. Also painted the hands black for his gloves since the arms are ones with easy interchangeable hands.

Finished a Hangman Page too. Rope is WIP currently. [=spoiler]I don't know why the photo of his front isn't working. There should be a photo of Jay's jacket from behind on the post above too. It shows up then I save it and it's gone. Who knows.

Will see if the images load better this time! Jay white jacket back & Hangman Page front. Thanks to TSM Customs got a bunch of nice headscans in. Fixed up my Matt Riddle Used another head for Ospreay and sculpted some hair. I like this one better. Also had a Kenta head from an eBay lot of custom fodder. Man I hope these pictures worked this time.

Finished up Marty Scurll today. I know his hands don't have tape. I forgot to swap them before I put everything together, and they are the type that need to be heated to be popped off so I'm waiting for the sealer to fully cure first. Accessories are a bit down the road yet but someday. Really happy with how he turned out overall. The skin looks nicer in person, the wash brought out a lot of the details well. Did an Io Shirai recently too, but still fixing up the head a pit so pictures are still to come. Next up are Tessa Blanchard and Brian Cage.

Took three tries, but finally a Moxley head I'm reasonably happy with. Not perfect, but good enough I think. Have to pop it off and fix the peg though, it's super loose and didn't notice until I popped the head on. Something doesn't feel quite right, but it was an Ambrose head I modified, and all I really changed was the hairline and the beard. To be honest I've never really loved any of the mattel Ambrose headscans. I think the BEWxFigureGiant collab one is going to end up being my final head since it looks better than all the mattel ones anyways. Also almost finished Tessa Blanchard. Need to do a bit more work on the skin, especially in the face for some shading, but overall I'm pretty happy with the look. The black lipstick isn't popping as much as I'd like with having the open mouth, but for the heads I had, modifying the basic Rhonda head and adding some extra hair was the best option I think even with the open expression.

Added spoiler tags to old posts so things would load quicker. Finished Tessa. Overall I'm pretty happy with this one. Some minor things could be better, and the head isn't perfect, but I'm happy with the result. Also finished Brian Cage. I am really happy with how the head turned out. I know it's not super perfect, but it's probably the best head I've made myself so far. Bobby Roode NXT was the starting point. I have to fix up the arm wraps, but I was getting annoyed with them and wanted to leave them for a few weeks down the road after I'm done a couple other figures. Next up -- MJF & Killer Kross. MJF head from TSM customs, Killer Kross head was batista with a couple mods (Wider nose & more pronounced cheeks). Head is a little wide for Kross, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks. (Minus the touch ups to finish up at the end) Definitely taking my sweet time on the tattoos for him. He has a super star power quality to him, and after watching that interview with Van Vliet (the first time I've really heard Kross speak out of kayfabe) I was completely enthralled. Seems like the wrestler I would most like to go have a beer with. BTW thaht terrible torso crack was not my doing. It came from a parts lot and whoever I bought it from butchered it in their attempt so the pegs were already snapped. I had to heat gun away like 15 stretch marks on the upper torso too.

Warsman does such awesome work I didn't want to update my post, but here it is anyways. Finished up a couple recently. Bigger post coming once I finish touch ups on about 4 others I've been working on. These two were a lot of fun. Killer Kross -- The tattoos aren't perfect, but I think they're a pretty respectable starting point I can touch up on in the future as I improve. Also would welcome suggestions for heads that would work well, this was the best I could find with a few mods. THE fastest rising star in professional wrestling, Maxwell. Jacob. Friedman. My first exposure to him was at All In, and I pretty much lost it when he yelled "I don't have to flip to get over". I've been All In on him ever since. (It shouldn't be a surprise one of my favourite wrestlers as a young child was the Million Dollar Man). I had a ton of fun making him, but that scarf was a pain. The figure itself took the same amount of time and effort as the scarf. The figure has been done for over a week and I've just been slowly chipping away at the scarf.
