I know the reaction was mixed, especially with some people blaming this line for the Retro line going on hiatus. However, I could not be any more all in with this line. I am 37 and Masters of the Universe was my first obsession as a child. I think this is a great fit and Mattel look to have been very clever with the character designs.
While I am more of a "classic" guy, I love the New Day as Man E Faces and Randy Savage being Macho Man at arms with battle damage is just awesome.
It is pretty cool how they have made it so you can take all of the "gimmicks" off if you want them to be just regular wrestling figures, but for me it is the cross over aspect that is making these so appealing.
So yeah, I could not be any more excited for this line. I am curious to see what the asking price for these is going to be. I can see them here in the UK running at £15 - 20 and that is if we get them in stores.
Is anyone else really excited for this line and what else do you hope to see from it?

Excited? No, not really. I do plan on getting Sting, the Triple H’s and Maybe Warrior. I do hope they can find a way to get a Surfer Sting and Piper in there. I don’t remember was there an Undertaker shown? If not a debut version of the deadman is needed.

I really don't see this series lasting to long before it does fail or gets cancelled I get the concept of it though but really how many remco collectors are instantly going to rush out just to get all of these aside from macho Man and warrior who somewhat fits in the time frame of the figures by a few years

I'll get Macho (and possibly Sting) and keep it MOC...and same for if they eventually do Piper, Jake, or a few other legends. I won't start collecting them loose, because I doubt the line will last long, and I spend enough money on the regular lines.

I fail to see what demographic they are trying to target with these.

From the new movie to the new set of Masters Of The Universe classic style figures with the improved articulation. I would be very surprised if it lasts a long time. Even though I grew up loving and collecting Masters Of The Universe too, I'm not going to collect them but it is a very fun idea. They look cool and the designs are very creative-I will give them props for that.

I’m gonna get Warrior for sure and maybe a couple others and strip them of all their accessories and pretend they’re Remco retros.

I’d rather see the retro line continue by I’ll pick up some of these. Especially Savage. Not sure how long they will last though. Dc has those he man type figures and they’re always warming.

I fail to see what demographic they are trying to target with these. Probably HHH himself so he can be skeletor

I just might have to pick some of these up for my kids. They are far too young at the moment but I can put them in storage. They're just really cool toys.

The cross over lines just don’t do it for me. Not monsters, zombies, or even turtles & ghostbusters. (I’m an 80s kid too so turtles & ghostbusters were huge) but I don’t need the mix.
I don’t think this Iine has anything to do with less retros but Hard Pass.

I'm still a huge MOTU fan to this day, so I'm in. Battle Armor Macho Man-At-Arms is the one I'm looking forward to the most. That Faker Cena was pretty cool, too.

No, I don’t want them. I already had motu figures as a kid. I don’t understand the appeal of wrestlers as ninja turtles, ghostbusters, he-man, zombies/aliens, or anything else besides just wrestlers

Don’t want them & think it’s a waste of a line & will be short lived. I don’t think wrestling figures should mix with nostalgia trends.

I never cared for the MOTU line growing up, so it's an easy pass for the mash ups. They are pretty nice figures. The line probably will do well to start but I bet you will see these warming pegs after a month or so.

I fail to see what demographic they are trying to target with these. Bill said when explaining them in the Q&A “ 80s nosalgia is what’s hot right now” I thought it was more so 90s nostalgia that everyone’s been looking back on, TV and Movie reboots and what not.
