He's super high right now, like $50-$100. I would buy him at $30, maybe even $40 including shipping. Can we expect his price to go down over time as E68 gets wider distribution, or has E68 distribution peaked already, meaning prices for Patterson will only go up? I'm not sure when E68 hit stores, and I'm trying to avoid paying a lot for him now if prices will drop, but also want to avoid a Harley Race situation where more stock never comes. I noticed Backlund and Sherri prices are reasonable, but I'm not sure if they were super high to begin with. I also do not have any Wal-Marts in reasonable distance (gotta love LA...), so I'm stuck with eBay.

Hey, if anyone figures this out, bring the lottery numbers back from the future with you please.
Daddy needs some cash money.

If you want him that bad you probably should pay 40 or 50 for him and not wait for a discounted price.

The best thing you can do is set your search alerts, monitor the pricing trends, and strike when you feel the iron is most comfortably hot. The closed sales on these things do eventually bottom out before scarcity takes hold after the initial hype has died, but they diminish on an almost daily basis. The two day BIN average is just over $70 shipped, and individual closed listings are already trending downward. In a week you should be able to find him around $40, but it's all a matter active hunting and speculation. One closed today for $50 shipped. Yesterday a listing for $60 plus shipping accepted a Best Offer. It's gonna come down, and it's going to happen daily.

He didn’t even show up on the east coast yet so I’d still give it some time

I would hold off on buying. I think the price will eventually go down. I doubt it'll be a Harley Race situation. You have to remember that most eBay users have 20 bucks give or take invested in it. So for them to make a profit after fees and shipping, most users will not go below $40.

He is going for $65 right now. The iron is hot.

Also for consideration...the Wal-Mart exclusives have been considerably more plentiful than the Target ones (Alexander Wolfe's emerging on RSC notwithstanding). Pete Dunne holds steady in the $70-$80 range now that he's come and gone, but Sherri and Backlund have both leveled out to a relatively reasonable average. With Wal-Mart in reset mode, 68 being branded with the SummerSlam packaging, I wouldn't be surprised to see this series become pretty readily available. There might even be a PDQ shipper in the mix.

He will be $35-45 bucks soon and stay around there just like Sherri. Plus no sightings on the east coast yet. I would hold off unless u must have him now.

I'm actually pretty new to the eBay game on either side of the coin. It's just something I picked up on when I first took on selling "high demand" items. Some sellers will hold firm on their prices hoping to defy the trends, but when buyers A, B, and C are able to get a figure for $50, the odds of buyer D willing to drop $80 as more and more sellers are finding it and trying to unload it before the maximum profit drops diminish significantly. Conversely, I've got a ton of old items up that aren't in high demand. I'm able to hold firm on those prices, because there's less competition to fight over.

With the SummerSlam packaging/promo tied in, I have a feeling this set will be in abundance much like the Backlund series.

It will go down. I've seen Sherri and Backlund for retail prices before. Just be patient

I'm sure by holiday time, like November, he'll have cooled off a little bit, with people busy trying to buy things for other people and whatnot.

I would definitely hold off buying him on eBay for now... Backlund and Sherri were much more expensive at first remember, but came down in price/leveled off once more started hitting stores.
I don't think it will be another Harley Race situation - Flashback 3 was a sub-series with reports of it only showing up at some Walmarts... whereas Elite 68 is the main line that most Walmarts should get. But if you're worried, keep checking the findings on here... if hardly anyone is finding him or there are suddenly no new findings for a few weeks (like with Harley), then hit eBay - you should still be able to get one at a decent/not too expensive price.
It can be tricky sometimes, knowing when to pull the "eBay trigger"... you can either buy it too soon and over-pay - or leave it a while and miss-out/watch the price go up. But in this instance, I'd say leave it a while.

Playing devils advocate, I'd say buy it now the cheapest you can. Put in offers on any that accept offers for $35-40 who knows how many people will find him and keep him vs selling in the weeks to come. Supply and demand works both ways. I really don't like paying more than retail for figures. I've not had a problem finding a figure in store since jakks ring rage Viscera. Now please allow me back to my plantain chips and shrimps. Xoxo 😘

What I'm going to do is wait until E68 hits my area, see how hard/easy it is to find Patterson. If it's damn near impossible then I will scout ebay for a decent price. Otherwise I'd much rather pay $15.88 for him.

I’m on the East Coast (NY), and there are 4 Wal*Marts - all within a 20 minute drive of me - and still nothing.

I hope someone on here can hook me up with one. I really would appreciate that. I don't have time to go look for figures too often
