Always considered Paige vs. Emma as 'the' women's match that got the ball rolling on what would be the Women's Evolution. Obvs wouldn't be on there even if Emma was with the company (a shame.) I can never get in to Showcases, DBry is one of my favourite wrestlers and I still haven't completed his one. They just get very stale to me after 3-4 matches Attitude Era showcase was PERFECT. match type, arena, and competitor variety. The Austin one wasn't bad, because so much was drastically different. The Bryan one was tedious.

Kevin Owens looks incredible. The detail on the apron looks great as well.
Greg Hamilton sounds SO refreshing. It seems like he knocked it out of the park!

Not a fan of the Steven Seagal jet black hair on KO. They did the same thing with Orton’s model last year.
Greg Hamilton’s ring announcing 💪🏽

What's with the Undertaker fire pyro noise sounding throughout Aleister Black's entrance? That sounds quite annoying. Also noticed a few frame drops, like in the Buddy Murphy entrance. A bit concerned about the state of the finished game to be honest. Hopefully this is just recorded footage from an early build.
But the new entrance looks pretty cool, and Aleister's model looks pretty good. I like that they added in the dumb but kinda funny creak sound effect.
Also on a different note, I really hope they worked on the submission system for 2K20. If they could restore the secondary submission system to how it was in 2K18, that would be great. In 2K19, they made it almost impossible to win via the button mashing system, with the CPU always being inhumanly quick. I've tried the primary submission system, the wheel system, throughout the time spent playing 2K19 but I just can't get good at it. I eventually became competent enough to win half of the time against most opponents on normal difficulty, but the hard difficulty submission matches on the Towers mode is stopping me most of the time, to the point where I just give up on the Towers. I just find the wheel system far too difficult to master.

Aleister Black looks pretty cool. But I have to say, and I know others have said this, but I wish 2K would just cut the **** and reveal the roster already. And, I wish they would go ahead and tell us about any new match types and any improvements made to the game in Universe Mode, Creation, etc.
As of right now, I haven't pre ordered. Because I want to know if this game is worth getting, since they have essentially been exactly the same the last few years. Are there enough cool improvements, and is there an intriguing enough roster that I want to get this? I don't know, because they won't tell me, because they love to draw this out week by week every year.
It's really annoying.

Is it just me, or does Becky's model look really strange? Like the hair looks too big on her head. I'm hoping it's just because we've seen so little footage of her, so I'll wait to see if the angles they've used just aren't flattering to the model.

I've just resigned to the fact that there will never be a woman on a WWE game who resembles an actual human

It is sad that we're 5-6 weeks from the release, and we know very little at this point. Normally when it gets to this point, we start getting the news. Pretty sure the rosters already woulda been revealed and we start seeing the other content.

I'm baffled by the obsession with roster reveals. Apart from a couple of jobbers and some of the developmental talent, everyone is in the game every year.

How does hair in WWE game still look this bad???
If there is one game series that is desperate for a new developer it is the WWE games. Yukes has been at this the better part of two decades and the games they make are not bad by any means. However, they are clearly all tapped out as far with what they can do at this point. It has been a hell of run for the Smackdown/2K series, but it is beyond stale at this point.

I already preordered it this year because Sting was announced and Piper has the statue in the trailer commercial. But the year they aren’t in the game they will need to have a very strong Legends roster for me to even consider buying it.

Pitty the new developer is making the exact same damn game!

I may be wrong but it seems more like they already developed the game and just left recently, probably at the later stages of development. And honestly I don’t see 2K’s development team getting too creative next year even if they are the only team to work on it. I’d rather see a fresh developer get their hands on the next game and give us something totally new.

I don't know if they just recorded the previous entrance videos at lower quality, but Austin's is the first entrance in which I've thought was clearly an improvement over 2K19.

The In-ring portion of that Austin animation is pretty good.
I wish they would give us "I Won't Do What You Tell Me" as his theme instead (his more iconic theme from 98 that he still uses to this day).
