Hi
What's the best way to remove tattoos and logos off figures without taking damaging the figure?
Thanks

I've heard either clear nail polish remover or pure acetone.

But they might ruin it but it might depend on how much you put on it.

Personally I use pure acetone without any issues. I know many prefer nail polish, etc with a smaller amount of acetone because it can damage the plastic, but personally I've never really had any issues with it eating away at the plastic. The only time I've had issues damaging with the plastic was with nail polish remover etc because I had to work harder on a spot to get the paint to remove. I dip a q-tip in acetone, rub most of it off on a paper towel, and then gently brush away the paint on the figure. Usually only about 4 or 5 strokes before I have to do dip the other side or use a new q-tip, depends on the colour being removed. I would definitely try on a piece of crap you don't care about first though, maybe it's eating away at my figures and I just can't tell. I always immerse them in water immediately after and dry them off to try to remove any remaining acetone.
I'm still relatively new to customs though so hopefully someone more experienced can chime in.
