No the issue is has a deal with storm collectibles for figures. Mattel will only have axxess to him when that deal is up. This is a made up rumor on here, the official reason is Hogan isn't signed to any deal.

I'm hoping that someone is buying out the rest of the Storm contract and that's why they've released these three figures at once. Mattel/WWE know how much money there is to be made from Hogan figures. Side question.. Could Mattel make a Mr America figure? My thinking is that it's not a person, but a gimmick, that WWE probably owns. They could make that figure the same way they could still make a Stardust if they wanted to. Storm released those 3 figures at once because they are simply repaints

Nobody's going to mention that Chyna is in it too?! They're really going full speed ahead with her!
Hopefully we get jakked DX version as well as a later Women's Champion version.

I highly doubt that Hulk signed an exclusive deal with Storm. Storm doesn't even have a retail presence, the can't even ask for that. Look at Andre the Giant's merch, his estate doesn't do exclusivity, he just got a Mego. I don't think Hogan is any less savvy with his IP. Yeah, he had a deal with Storm prior to him being fired. He had a couple of 1:6 figures in the works while at the same time getting Mattel figures. Action figure deals can assign exclusively based on scale. Mattel has the rights to 6 inch figures, we’ve seen in the past that WWE have had other companies make items at different sizes. Storm had the 1:6 deal with Hogan, and then when WWE fired him, he would be able to make a deal with Storm for 6” figures as well. This is all hypothetical but it could be reality I can’t imagine they aren’t making him due to the stuff he said when they showed off a Lars Sullivan prototype. It’s probably the same problem Flair had when he came back but had conflicting merchandising deals

I’m very tired of discussing Hogan’s contract. They’ll make another one eventually when they can So why discuss it then?

Couldn't even call it Mr. America. I know when Jeremy showed the jakks one recently he said that they had to change the name due to legal reasons with Marvel (Captain America) and there was even more legal reasons. So they had to can the whole thing, that's why we got the 2 in 1 Hogan for the ticket turn in. It was originally Mr. America.

Storm's deal would include the exclusivity on RSC and that no other Hogan figs from other brands are up as well, you could not have x2 different RSC exclusive Hollywood Hogans up on the same place.
Only hope we have is that his Storm figs DO NOT SELL WELL and they do not renew contract.. we have until 2022 when the mattel deal is up!! (brrrother)

Just saw a new Hulk Hogan funko pop is coming out next year with the rest of the WWE ones... does this mean Mattel can release him now?

Hopefully someone who sees Hogan at a signing can ask him how long his Storm collectibles contract is for?

"Hulk! Hulk! When is your deal with Storm Collectibles expiring? I need to know so I can log on to WF and let Bill know when he can start making your action figures again!" Nope. No access to Haku for us at the moment. One piece of merch does not mean it’s an all encompassing deal which includes figures.

What does the Storm Contract have to do with Mattel? Storm does Internet exclusives and imports. That should not have any overlap with a retailer like Mattel doing mass market product.
Do we really think Hogan is signing exclusive contracts with small niche companies?
