Let's start. I love the Mattel line. Some of the best figures produced. The past few weeks I've just been thinking and looking on Ebay at some of the old Jakks products. It made me feel nostalgic and I actually ordered a CM Punk RA figure. Now I feel like it might be a good time to keep researching, finding stuff I passed on or missed out on over the years. Anyone else do the same? Some of the Jakks stuff barely increased in value and it seems like a great time to re-buy or buy what I missed. The MajorWF pod has also inspired this somewhat. Haha.

I'm always on the lookout for vintage figs. Whether it be Jakks,Hasbro,Toymakers,Toybiz, LJN etc.
Mattel is great but those companies I listed are from my era of wrestling so they will always be at the top of my list as far as collecting goes.

You are not alone. I am very interested in Jakks RA and CS figures I passed on years ago like Buff Bagwell, Wrestlemania XX Chris Benoit, etc

I am pretty sure everyone is after Jakks CS Buff Bagwell, Lance Storm, Dr Death and now the Harley Races
But for me I started collecting a bit of BCA's MOC...
I would love to get some old school NJPW figs too

I’ve collected Mattel, but I’ve not enjoyed it nearly as much as collecting Jakks. Classic Superstars was my favourite line of all time and I loved the rarer stuff (maybe stupidly, according to my wallet). I went through a spell there where I was collecting big time but it petered out. Now I’m focused on getting all the 1/100 Jakks figures, I have 10 so far, but I know getting Warrior & Hogan is near impossible at this point, so I’m just saving for that day when they pop up.

As a kid I stopped collecting after Hasbro ended and didn't start again until 4 odd years ago for my kids
In between then I only bought one jakks figure which was the black and blue Bret one. So Jakks have no nostalgic appeal to me and I enjoy reading the posts in here on why people like jakks figures because to me they look awful and I like to know the attraction people have with them
I've yet to see one figure in same or similar attire jakks have done better than mattel. The only appeal I have with jakks are the classics mattel haven't / can't do
