Okay.
So a few things. I can't say much, but I'll share what I can:
1) These are DEFINITELY for action figures. 2) These are being scanned by Gentle Giant (check out the lanyard attached to the dongle to the left of the screen, right of the computer). If you're not familiar, they do freelance work for almost every company, from Hasbro to Mattel, anyone and everyone needing actors scanned. 3) This is NOT for the company that shall not be named. 4) This NOT--I repeat--NOT FOR JAKKS. 5) We should probably get an AEW toy section started soon here on the boards. 6) Get excited.

Bill says he is excited for this , because they will be able to make figures he can’t. If someone can’t post his comments that be great. He commented on Major Figs Pod Instagram.

They need to do the things the TNA line failed to do: - Include accessories with the figures, make them as interesting and unique as possible to attract kids, parents and casual fans.
- Make the packaging as interesting as possible, three dimensional if possible. For the same reasons as listed above.
- Make backstage playsets and unique playsets in general. Mattel don’t do it too often. Again for the same reasons.
And (mostly) try and get as close to scale to Mattel as possible.

I hope it’s hasbro but either way as long as we get awesome 6-7 inch scale figs with quality sculpts deco etc I’m totally onboard. It would be a bonus if they match well w Mattel’s

I'm willing to bet its Funko. If the stuff reported here is true, and that AEW stuff will be out soon... There has simply not been enough turn around time for a big company, like a Hasbro, to get product out. Especially since we have heard nothing so far or production, soliciting, trying to convince retailers to pick them up.
But Funko is not a bad decision. They do 6in collector figures. AEW would fit in their Savage World figures.

All I said is that we should get excited, and to start a section for AEW figures soon. But you're making a lot of assumptions based off of the very intentional, very vague information I gave out. Additionally ,Funko haven't done 6 inch collectors figures in probably close to 3 or 4 years with their Legacy line. And furthermore, Savage World are 5.5 inches high aka Masters of the Universe scale, have limited articulation, and don't utilize scanning technology on the line. And no, they won't start just for the AEW line. Common sense, and rational deduction aside, FACTS: it is NOT Funko.

Why would a reputable toy company pick up something that isn’t proven to be a widely bought product? You started the thread with questions, now are trying to act as an official spokes person I know. Isn't crazy how you can, ya know...find things out? How questions can become answers? So weird, right? It's almost as if gaining knowledge yields results. Bizarre. And trying to act as an official spokesperson (one word, by the way)? In what way, shape, or form am I acting as a spokesperson? By correcting an inaccurate guess based on the information I have? Would you rather I not share the cool little tidbits of news I have? I can gladly do that. You will all find out when you find out, can keep playing the guessing game, and I can keep these tasty little nuggets to my lonesome. And lastly, why WOULDN'T a "reputable company", whatever that means--I'm sure smaller companies would appreciate that you don't find them to be "reputable", pick up a license to a highly anticipated, multi-billion dollar funded response to WWE before someone else could snatch it up? That's just dense to think that. Not saying that's who it is doing them, but clearly someone found it to be a worthwhile venture to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on it to secure the license, and spend the money on freelance scanning, and putting together prototypes. Big or small company, "reputable" or "not"...toys aren't cheap, so SOMEONE found it worth their time and money. They clearly know something you don't know.Which in three short sentences showed me a common thread with you. Methinks you don't know anything of what you're talking about, and should just quit while you're "ahead".

You’re flogging these people on twitter and probably are coming off like psychopath. And yes, a company like hasbro won’t risk something out the gate with a company that hasn’t proven themselves yet. They had a few successful ppvs, but that doesn’t mean they are a successful company yet. They still have to prove to move numbers and be able to keep an audience before a major toy brand would take a risk. I’m not doubting they have a toy line in the process, but they may be paying for the scans themselves and just have a deal like roh did. And yes, you hoping in with “facts” and getting all pissed at comments against them or questioning it, shows that you feel like you have some sort of superiority thing going on because you got questions answered after probably flooding social media accounts. Oh, and by reputable..I mean a company the size of hasbro with a reputation like hasbro. Not some niche figure line sold online or in comic shops.

Getting pissed? lol, I simply informed him that he was incorrect and in what way/how so, you idiot. That is all. I harbor no ill will towards him. I'm only intolerable to you because I pointed out the fallacy in your remarks, and you realize this, so you're going on the defensive. I get it. Really. But, there a few things must correct in your major misrepresentations of my method of obtaining information, as well as further fallacies made: 1) Ain't nobody "flogging" anyone. By "bombarding" them, I was sending one Tweet asking this question to each of these guys--The Young Bucks share an account, Tony Khan, and Cody. Four guys, three Tweets. That is hardly a flogging. But hey, way to reach for any way to insult me. I see what you did there. Aces. Apparently, you've never heard of hyperbole. Google it. 2) I got my information from a guy working on the line, as this is a very new development, and ink is still drying. I have many friends in the toy industry, as I run my own YouTube channel. I started the thread before finding out that my buddy was working on it, and to get people talking about the possibility. 3) Everything you've said are your opinions. That is all conjecture, and speculative, and there is absolutely no actual evidence to support your statements. They are a new major organization, getting extensive coverage, and a TV show on a major network that used to hold another wildly successful, ratings producing wresting TV show. Again, clearly someone found worth in the AEW brand. And you act as if OPs don't exist in the toy world. That's "original properties", since I'm sure you'll need your hand held on that bit, as well. Transformers, GI Joe, M.A.S.K, Stretch Armstrong--all Hasbro. All toys before becoming cartoons. You're right. Hasbro would NEVER takea risk on an unproven property. Again, not even saying that this is who is releasing these. So, until it is officially announced, this point is moot. But just know that you are unequivocally wrong. 4) That is not the way licensing works--especially on most toylines. They wouldn't be starting a possible interest in a toyline themselves by hiring a firm like Gentle Giant (a MAJOR company, and NOT cheap to freelance) to scan the wrestlers "just in case" they sign with someone. Again, your ignorance is on display. AEW signed a merchandising deal with a toy company. That toy company hired Gentle Giant. Gentle Giant will then turn those scans over to said toy company to begin the prototype process. Period. The end. This is how it works. 5) I *do* have a superiority complex. But it's specifically reserved for fools that think spokesperson is two words, and that hopping is spelled "hoping". Please stop. I don't want to have to keep schooling you and making you look even more foolish than you already do.

Nah. He's going to say something else stupid that he thinks is a really good counterpoint, but is still wildly off base, throw in another lame insult to try and save a little face, and to get in the last word. I'll let him. I've no interest in a pissing match with someone clearly ill-equipped. He's wrong, I know he's wrong, he thinks he's right, but he's not even remotely close. And I can only laugh because I know that. So, he can say whatever he wants. I'll not be responding, but I'll keep talking about these sure to be awesome toys, if anyone wants to continue THAT conversation.

Pretty weird that Cody, The Bucks, and Tony Khan wouldn't just make with the goods to some rando on Twitter asking for an exclusive. Doesn't seem like them, but I don't know, good luck.

And forgive my poor grammar and spelling, that is posted from a smart phone...on a ing toy message board. Also, it’s not my opinion on the company..it’s pure fact. I said you can’t consider successful yet, which is 100% as they haven’t begun weekly tv or begun to actually get into a tv ratings race. They are paying for their time slot. If they do decent enough, the tnt will actually pick them up. My mistake for assuming they paid for the scanning, it just seemed like the likely thing as they are dropping money on everything else, including a tv deal. Living where I do, I’ve made friends with several people in the industry myself. They work for hasbro, this why I said it wouldn’t be them. You haven’t proved crap guy. You’re just being cocky for no damn reason

That's what you gather from all of this? I see that they let just anyone be a mod here. No education or common sense required. Cool. And gee, could I have simply been asking as a fan-- "Hey guys, are you making plans for toys?", and not asking for the exclusive reveal? THIS. This is the dumbest thing said here thus far.
