You think $44 for two non exclusives Elites is a good price? If a Big E / Woods 2 pack goes to regular retail for $40 then this line is doomed These two that they’ve chosen to be the first series will probably sit and not move on shelves Elites at $19.99, 2 Elites at $39.99 makes perfect sense. Sorry you expect quality figures for practically nothing. Haha I expect $30-$35 for 2 Elites in one package. Being at Wal Mart the normal price is under $18 per and now the going price is seemingly $15.88. $40-$44 for 2 doesn’t seem like a deal to me Haha |

I gotta be honest, because that's what we do here. I'm really not all that "amped" for the TakerKane. I dunno, I just feel like it's not really that big of a deal in history that I need to have a figure representation of it, I actually forgot that even happened until I saw the figure and its funny because the most memorable moment of that whole thing was the reaction GIF Austin gave us at the end when he quickly takes his headset off and stands up.  And at the level of Ringside Exclusives over the years this one just seems kind of "meh". Like you look at DX Shawn, iconic...KOTR Bret, iconic...American Made Hogan, iconic. However, I will say that the execution of the figure is fantastic. Great idea to put the Kane head in the package to turn it into a 2-in-1. and I hope the 'Taker scan looks as good in person as it does in the proto. Weird that in the promo picture for this figure, the real life one they show on the ad, Undertaker has what looks like his "evil" pointed goatee, but in the moment he was sporting his normal look. It just feels weird to follow up the absolutely amazing and incredible Hardy Boyz 2 pack...a set that people have been DYING for since Mattel got the license, and that exceeded expectations with this TakerKane. However it's not going to stop me from buying it. Mostly because I will always support Ringside....and it is a cool figure. I just hope they have something really big planned for the next exclusive. Something that's going to really get us excited the same way the Brood Hardyz did Undertaker dressed up as Kane twice, once before Summerslam 98 and once before Wrestlemania XV. yeah and the RSC figure depicts the SS98 version, but the picture they used in the advertisement banner is from before WMXV lol |

I always looked at the Ripped and Ruthless Kane as sort of this figure because the face looked just like Taker when you took the mask off. So it kind of hits me doubly for that reason.

I always looked at the Ripped and Ruthless Kane as sort of this figure because the face looked just like Taker when you took the mask off. So it kind of hits me doubly for that reason. Yeah that Ripped and Ruthless is actually Kane’s favorite figures of him. I had it signed and he talked about it. If you look at the brick on the bottom it says reserved for Undertaker. So it’s supposed to be Undertaker under the mask. |

It’s great that the Taker/Kane comes with a Kane head. It’s a 2 in 1 figure. 2 sleeved elite Kane, Hell yeah!
And I’m surprised that RSC doesn’t have the Pre Order price at $27.99 & the 2 pack elite isn’t $49.99. Perhaps since the release day is 2 months away, the prices are cheaper.

I need to see taker/Kane proto images with each different head/mask on.
I want an elite red flashback kane. I still never got my hands on either e12 or hoc kane. I like that this one is 2 sleeves

I’m looking forward to the Rey/Joe set more than Finn/AJ, but I plan to buy Finn/AJ to help the Elite 2 pack line along. I’m excited about the possibilities of an Elite 2 pack line. It would be a good place for current tag teams like Heavy Machinery, The Viking Raiders, and The Street Profits.
I could also hope for Flashback tag teams. I was really hopeful for the Target HOF Elite 2 pack line, but it fizzled out after only one series. I hope these new 2 packs do well.

The Ripped and Ruthless figure was in development long before Taker had ever dressed up as Kane. In fact, I'm pretty sure the set was even released prior to that first Taker-as-Kane segment. |
