He takes bumps filming his show constantly. That can be said though for anyone, even if they weren’t previously injured Granted I've never filmed a TV show, but I'm pretty sure they don't slam you into things or dump you on your back on a regular basis. Thus why stunt men and stunt coordinators are employed. Two completely different circumstances. i’d agree with you, but edge suggests differently in the article: seems strange that a tv show wouldn’t use a stunt double admittedly,

But I still think there's a vast difference in filming a scene and going at it in the ring for 20+ minutes. But then again, I am just assuming. I've done neither.

I thought it was odd they allowed him to get physical I know it was only 1 move but it was 1 move with a risky neck... I thought about D-Bryan and the treatments hes had to get fit and back in the ring I wondered if Edge has done the same.
Ill be "that" guy and say if WWE don't want him I'm sure AEW would snap him up.

If he wants to wrestle that's his prerogative. We aren't doctors

Edge doing a spear recently was a huge surprise

I understand Edge is a wrestler and will always have it in his mind that he can still do it. But my question is why? Why risk being in a wheelchair for the rest of your life or worse? I mean he has a family now and it's not like Beth and him are hurting for money. And I would assume that wrestling would be way more physically demanding on his body then shooting a scene is. Also I would imagine there's more downtime for him to rest his body while filming then being on the road wrestling. I like Edge and it sucks the way things went for him but he's still doing well for himself and working in the industry he loves why throw that away?

I'd bet if they do allow him one final match it will be a tag match so that Christian can get his "one more match" as well. Could see one last E & C vs Hardys or something along those lines..

I'd be all for E&C vs the Hardys one last time. Needs to be at Mania or something though. Has to be a grand stage.

Stem Cells are the future, and that future is now! Joe Rogan got them for his bulging disc, hell Kevin Nash and Ryback just got more 2 weeks ago together. It literally is a miracle. And with adding and changing the components of said stem cells you will have a cancer cure, blindness cure, dementia cure..... all within 5-10 years.

If he wants to do it, I’d love to see it. He’s only 45.
Austin said the same thing for years though and has never gotten back in the ring. Austin had better last match closure than Edge though imo.

But I still think there's a vast difference in filming a scene and going at it in the ring for 20+ minutes. But then again, I am just assuming. I've done neither. If they film in Canada, they don't have the strict laws that the United States has. Edge would be able to get around all that. If they film in the United States, there is so much from the unions they would have to go through and basically they wouldn't let Edge to any stunt stuff. I know stunt workers that use to work on "The Walking Dead" who told me that actors aren't even to fall over chairs without having a stunt person. I don't really believe it's THAT strict but who knows?

I'd love to see Edge back in the ring one last time, but only if he is sure that it's the right decision for himself. There have been too many tragic injuries over the years and I wouldn't want him to put himself in an unnecessarily risky situation. I would jump through the roof if he and Christian were to team up for an epic tag match against the Hardy Boyz and/or the Dudley Boys. Doubtful, but a man can dream so why not dream big?

This is just me speculating here, but I am willing to bet he has been cleared by WWE to wrestle already or they wouldn't have let him hit Elias with the spear at SummerSlam.

Thanks to the magical, progressive, and not at all violent and oppressive country of Saudi Arabia, all things are possible. Maybe King whatever his name is will watch a replay of WM17 on the Network and want to watch Edge and Christian vs Hardy Boyz vs Dudley Boyz in and TLC match?
