I got Austin for an elite head swap and this new head scan is too big for the skinny Austin elite body. Awful news. I planned to do the same.

Love the HBK scan. Been patiently waiting for an elite Michaels in tights from the time of his comeback.

Those heads are stellar. I believe the SCSA head is the same as his debut Mattel figure and is my favorite of his. I have never liked the other one they've used on all his Elite figures.
Rock looks amazing and Shawn, goatee or not, is nice as well.

Basic Austin Figures are extremely underwhelming.

That Rock scan is the best they've ever done. Thanks for sharing!

That Rock head looks like a 2001 scan painted to look like 1999 Rock with sideburns. Idk if I like it now

The Shawn Michaels is from 2003/4 and the variant is from One Night Only 1997. In neither case did he have any facial hair, and never did he have a goatee, so not sure what Mattel was thinking there...Still nice figures though. Austin wore white kneebraces at King of the Ring 2001. I wish that headscan had been on all of his Mattel figures, because it's definitely his best...and same with Rock, although the head is too big. Michaels has never had reddish, brown hair either - but it doesn't them stop putting it on pretty much every ing figure.

I may be wrong, but I don't think it's One Night Only, as HBK had solid hearts on that event. Only reference I can see for the sort of dotted looking hearts is a match against Vader in 96.
They're the same tights...As you can see, he has the dotted look in the hearts at One Night Only as well. Nice. I stand corrected!

The regular version is WrestleMania XX from 2004. Actually the designs inside the hearts were white at Wrestlemania XX. The silver is from Armageddon 2003 (and other shows around that time). Good find. I assumed the Basic 100 was just miscolored white.

I just got my b100 Shawn and elite 70 Dolph in the mail. Despite it being a basic (when I’m normally an elite only guy), that HBK is epic - I think maybe his best scan by any company and always wanted a late 03/04 attire HBK and it’s great to have it. Will complete the set at retail because I want to have the full set

They're the same tights...As you can see, he has the dotted look in the hearts at One Night Only as well. Nice. I stand corrected! The chase version in this set is interesting, being an extensive dork of all things HBK wrestling attire, it ends up being a kind of hybrid - not fully accurate to either era (96/97 nor 03). In 96/97 HBK wore the attire when it was new but always with wrist gauntlets and never with his hair half up/half down. Also his boots usually had hearts on the sides (moreso in 97/not 96). This figure obviously has an 03/04 era scan, but with a weird boot design that looks like a hybrid of his 96 and 04 boot style. It also has the matching color wrist gauntlets which he never wore together with the attire in 03 (by that time it was all wrist tape). So the chase is like 3/4 03 HBK and 1/4 96/97 hbk 👽

I can't believe they finally made a version of this attire. It's in my top 3 favorites that I've always wanted (the candy stripe '96/'97 gear). I'm gonna doctor mine up with chest hair and repaint the hair like I do for all HBK figures since they're either orange or that weird dark brown usually. Either way, the actual figure looks loaded with detail for a Basic, so I'm pretty ecstatic we got it at all.

That Austin is really good. He’s one of those guys that translated better to a basic body. But they always messed up the boots. Nice to see they finally corrected it after 9 years haha. Might have to get it. Only thing I don’t love is the white knee braces. Heel Austin wasn’t great but the red ones were much cooler.
And I always wanted an HBK but never pulled the trigger. These ones are cool but I’ll have to see more pics of the screwjob one

Just realized that the lineup for B100 is the same for the Ghostbusters

I stopped watching after Montreal because I was such a Bret mark and moved to wcw but I always find Austin with random colour braces strange
The TNF with gold braces, this with white and the one with red are not how I picture SCSA in my head. How often / for how long did he wear different coloured braces?

Or is the variant from the Royal Rumble. I remember him wearing them tights. If he just has white wrist tape it is indeed the RR2003

Again, the chase here is a hybrid - not fully fully Accurate to any specific era 100%. It’s mostly 2003 - particularly the sculpt and general boot design but it has the wrist gauntlets which he wore in 96-97 but not in the 2000s run. Basically an 03 HBK with extra wrist detail
