Well it does look like Eric Bischoff is part of the WWE now because this is a dick move that he would love. I know I've been critical of AEW in the past but I'm swaying more to their side. I still think that 70% of their roster is laughable though. There is no reason to move NXT to Wednesdays on USA. I don't think it'll draw that many more people to watch it. The ones who really love it are already spending the $9.99 a month to see it. Now they'll get Raw and Smackdown recaps and tons of commercials. I've posited before that an NXT move to cable in direct competition would be to force the portion of WWE's audience most likely to also support AEW to choose their loyalty. It really is a no-lose situation for them. If NXT can get higher ratings, they can sit on their pedestal and laugh their buns off. If ratings aren't dominant but still comparable, they can play it off as WWE's 3rd tier "developmental brand" being just as successful as the competitor's A-class offering, plus still raking in the ad revenue.

Well it’s 100% official and the show starts September 18th which is a lot sooner than I expected. I truly believe that most to all of the NXT roster are not happy about this deep down inside.

Nah, they’re ecstatic. Getting more air time, on a national network in a prime time slot. The only ones who should be happy are whoever in the WWE has to explain why green talent are being put on TV weekly.

Did the observer report Vince was going to be running NXT? Because now, apparently, the show, including the announce team, are expected to remain largely unchanged according to them. And Vince is expected to stay away from the show, with Hunter having to miss SD to take care of NXT. “Unless” of course, ratings start to tank, then they fully expect Vince to step in.
Why are we still taking everything reported on the internet by “news” websites as fact as soon as we hear it? Sometimes there’s truth in what’s mentioned, but so much is pure speculation.

They even said on SD last night that Triple H will be spearheading the move to USA. But there's nothing to complain about there, so let's all jump to conclusions instead.

Maybe not, but there are plenty of comments here that would suggest they received a memo directly from WWE management that Vince was running it directly.

Yup 😂 I do find it to be a reasonable thing to discuss and even assume to happen, but as we know anything said is taken as gospel even if it’s just an opinion.
