Not so fun fact. This will be my first time seeing this PPV in its entirety. Oh wow haha. I usually go back and watch the last match but I know I have watched the old VHS tape pre network, all the way through. Fast forwarding through those things is a nightmare so most times you just sit back and let it run haha

Yeah I've seen bits and pieces but never actually watched the entire thing.

Due to the accessibility of the network I find myself rewatching a lot of stuff I have already seen a million times haha, but itβs super nice to watch a whole show every once and a while and see new stuff I didnβt know about.
It happened a lot more when I watched my VHS tapes because nobody wanted to get up and fast forward and deal with that endless process haha. (Our VCR remotes were always broke)

Really need to plan on checking my collection beforehand. Didn't know until just now I also had the Main Event pre-show included lol

I couldn't convince my parents that I needed to see this PPV back in '96. I remember sitting for three hours listening and occasionally seeing things unfold on the scramble channel.

Haha, I use to do the same thing man. It wasnβt so easy back in the day getting the folks to order those PPVβs AND sit through them for 3 hours. Hereβs a question. Who did you guys think the third man was?

My crappy cable company didn't carry WCW ppvs. Only could get WWF and ECW actually.

The idea of a heel Hulk Hogan was far from my mind since I'm too young to remember his pre-WWF days.

My crappy cable company didn't carry WCW ppvs. Only could get WWF and ECW actually. My problem wasnβt even so much ordering the PPV, usually I had an allowance and was more than willing to pay for it. My issue was we had 1 tv with cable and my parents werenβt gonna sit through a PPV a month haha. I had to pick and choose and eagerly anticipated my magazine subscriptions to arrive in the mail.

Especially because he had just come over from WWF

Always smart to put the cruiserweights first to get the crowd hot out the gate.
