Nothing like a bunch of fat losers on the internet calling Jericho a fat loser when he’s a legend at his craft.

What a petty move by WWE to compete with a company that wanted to compete with them. Heartless. Because this isn't petty at all...

I like Y2J but he has talked out of the both sides of his ass for his entire career.

Anyone want to bet that if the WWE ratings are lower that we will then get Roman Reigns on all 3 shows weekly? More people to Superman Punch. Or Seth could come on, win the championship and become a three-belter.

I do believe Vince will gain the leverage needed to do a hostile takeover of NXT if the show pulls poor ratings, so he can run his developmental system how he wants. And that would include featuring Da Big Dawg in the biggest segments of each show every week.

He could already run NXT if he wanted to.

He could already run NXT if he wanted to. NXT never held as much importance to him as it does now. Before, he allowed Hunter to run the little indie show that drew in an audience to the network and garnered praise from a group typically skeptical of WWE's product. Now that he's called them up to be the first defense, Vince can't allow mediocrity. And since he believes everything he does is gold, it won't take long for him to insert himself into the runnings of NXT.

Maybe Vince would be worried if they went up head to head against RAW and we’re winning the ratings for a month or two straight. As it is now they aren’t even a blip on the wwe’s radar. All these “War” comments are coming from AEW who are trying to generate some buzz to make themselves look better than they really are. They are trying to get an audience for their television debut. The WWE is high on that kid now. Hence all his high profile stories and PPV matches

Are AEW also still pretending they’re doing real serious sports style wrestling? 😂 With someone like Orange Cassidy on the roster, they definitely shouldn't.

True, the "war" talk is way overkill here and those who take it seriously are staunch AEW supporters and staunch WWE defenders. Most rational people can hopefully see thru that. Though I don't see Vince as really being rational. As with any other self-diluted, narcissistic, obsessive, egotistical bunghole who's never had to accept "no" for an answer, has surrounded himself with a bunch of sycophantic yes men, and has reached a point in his pampered life of excess that he feels all-powerful, he is compelled to go after everything and everyone he perceives as the least bit threatening to his insecure sense of self worth. Anything seen as not even a "blip" wouldn't inspire any sort of reaction in a normal person, especially something that shows no immediate threat to a billion dollar conglomerate's bottom line. But the egos behind the people that run WWE can't allow that.

Love how most of you are bashing Jericho but when the next time he comes back to WWE, you'll all be lining up to lick his poop chute.

IMO his matches/feuds with Ambrose, Styles, and Owens all fell flat. Hard. And I can't think of anyone in WWE I'd like to see him face. So if he wants to stay elsewhere and return someday only for a HOF induction, more power to him.
