Who on the RAW and Smackdown rosters are going to be sent back?
I remember a while back and correct me if I’m wrong, someone said, I believe it was HHH, said that if NXT made it to regular TV then we may see some “main roster” guys come back to NXT.
I think this may be a good opportunity for lower card guys who don’t get a lot of screen time to get a fresh start. I know the NXT roster is packed with talent right now. But there are a few guys I wouldn’t mind seeing back on the black and gold brand.
My list of guys I would like to see back in NXT are:
Apollo Crews: because he got called up way to early and I know he can put on some fantastic matches with some of the guys down there now.
EC3: Same as crews, got called up to early and now he isn’t even on Tv.
No way Jose: fun character, but not just not for the raw roster, I say go back to NXT where you know his character is over or take the opportunity to change his character up.
About 75% of the 205 live roster: if the rumors that 205 is on the chopping block are true, then they should just divide the roster among all three rosters and have the cruiser weight title be a floating title that can be defended on all three shows. A handful of the guys I think can thrive on RAW and SD, but I think a huge bulk of the roster is better off going to NXT, because there they can thrive and put on some great matches with a lot of guys.
It’s to early to predict what they are going to do, but when it does happen we should be prepared for anything.
So who do you think is going to be sent back to the Black and gold brand?

I would like Samoa Joe to go back to NXT. I really wanted him to win a world title on the main roster but it never happened and, imo, his credibility is a bit shot in those matches going forward.
In NXT he could be a top dog again.

I'd add...
All of 205 Live. The talent there is great, yet so few watch it. By combining them you'd add ton of fresh match ups.
Luke Harper. Said it many times, but I think a tag team with Harper or Grimes would be a perfect way to repackage Harper.
Chad Gable. His match with Gallagher a few weeks back is exactly what NXT is all about. Give us more of that.
Eric Young. Put him back with Killian Dain as a smaller version of Sanity.
Apollo Crews. Very talented, but needs some direction.
B-Team. They'd be taken far more serious there and they'd help beef up the tag team division.
Then occasionally use some UK talent, and you should have a stellar roster.

They have wasted Brawn Strowman on the main roster, and I have no faith that he'll do anything good with Rollins, so put him in NXT and he can kick ass there.

Hopefully no one. There’s plenty of guys that don’t get shine on NXT due to the hour time limit. They have a deep enough roster to fill out two hours without relying on outsiders.

Just cut the god-awful main roster jabronis like Hawkins, Ryder, Ascension, Colons, B-Team, Lucha House Party, Eric Young, etc. instead of sending them over to further over-inflate an already over-inflated NXT roster.
NXT needs to focus on using the people they have, not just taking the useless scraps and trying to "revive their careers" or whatever.

I honestly forget The Ascension were still employed by WWE till you mentioned them. That's how bad it is. lol |

Harper. Cesaro. NXT could do with some more stars, too, not just cast-offs. But I’m not sure who Raw/SD can spare who would be a difference maker in NXT. Rusev maybe. Ziggler. Roode? Bring back Enzo and Cass. Book Triple H in a match with someone on the third week after a hot angle on week one.

Enzo may be an A-hole, but so was Shawn Michaels and he was king of the 90’s. A lot of guys are a-hole’s irl but who cares as long as they do their job right and that’s to entertain us. They’re huge draws when they’re together and bring in ratings. It’d be good to have them on NXT to bring in viewership when it’s head to head with AEW. |

Lacey Evans needs to go back to NXT as should Nia Jax. Sh*t Asuka may want to go back since it is the place she was treated the best..
