Is there anyone else who cant go out when its warm/sunny? My skin burns terrible so I have to sit in. Anyone else with the same problem? what do you do when you cant go out? I see everyone out enjoying the weather and i have to sit in I suppose I could go out with an umbrella like Michael Jackson but I would feel silly.

I'm also pale. The struggle is all too real. Couple hours out in the sun without sunscreen and it's Chernobyl up in here.

I live in New Mexico, and man it's like satan's arm pit out right now. I use to like to go on walks and tan because it would stay at like between 80-90 degrees which is fine. And there would be no humidity in the air. Now, I do understand we aren't that humid of state like the Eastern Seaboard. But this summer it's been like 95 degrees and up and little bit of humidity makes it unbearable. Any time the air gets little thick and the heats in the mid 90's forget about it. It's kind of ruined summer with how hot it is. I love hiking and getting active.
Honestly I have stuck to just working out inside a gym more, watching movies, and do anything that doesn't require me to go outside. I typically really don't like heat either. I really only use it for physical activities or to tan. Anyone who uses it just to sit in, you're plain weird. Winter is much more comfortable climate for me. Even though here I get away with wearing shorts in January.

I'm pale with red hair so that's a very bad combo. I can't stand the heat at all, I've always hated summer.

I get burned rather easily, but I have grown somewhat resistant to it. The key is to have a pretty regular burn.

I love the sun, but I always get burned my first time back to the beach after a long winter. I have to keep going back in order to get tan. I dont like snow, ice, blizzard, etc.

Sun me up. Getting burnt sucks tho so I’m always conscious of that and try to mix in shade time with sun

I get tanned so I don't get burned from the skin, by my gf use to always jokingly give me crap for bringing an umbrella when we go out in public and I always tell her sorry I'm not tougher than the freaking sun. She's been more understanding now because she's been not wanting to go out while it's hot anymore, she gets burnt since she has lighter skin than me.

Last April we had a really bad heatwave while I was on a field trip and we were working out in this wide open space when I thought we'd be in the shade. One of the guys waited until we'd already been there for 2 hours before mentioning that he had sun screen if anyone wanted to borrow it. I got burned so bad that day.

I worked on the overnights for over a decade and my skin can't handle the sun anymore. My arms and face are a dark brown from minimal exposure to it during work. One hell of a pale band around my wrist because I always wear a watch.

Yep. Also pale. And I live in Florida, so... the combination is no bueno. Fortunately, I work at night and don't really have to deal with it much.
I will say, the heat doesn't bother me as much as the humidity. Even at night, upper-80s + 90% humidity, and you can barely breath from how thick and soupy the air is.

Unless I'm making money, no, I can't stand being in the sun. I do lawncare and landscaping work part time and it's good money so I dont have a choice, but that's about it. No pools, beaches, theme parks, etc. I get sunburned too easily to be out if I don't have to.

I have a cousin that has similar problems. It just happened a few years back strangely. When we were younger, we used to always go out and run around in the sun. As we got older, he became a homebody and stayed inside during his high school and college years. Whenever he goes out for too long now his skin becomes red and itches here and there and he also gets lightheaded. He's doing better now as he slowly let himself go out more again but it took some adjusting for a few years. I joke around that he's a vampire but we're cool with each other like that. You should get your condition checked out just in case to be sure that nothing is wrong. If anything, try to get more vitamin D by going outside, eating more dairy, or take some vitamin D pills. Hope everything is okay mate!
