If this means the end of the Wildcard rule, I'm all for it. If talent is still allowed to bounce back and forth, it'll be a waste.

I really don't see the point in another draft because I don't even know who belongs to which show. Raw and Smackdown stars fighting for the other brands titles and there aren't even any GM's anymore.

So are permanent GM's coming back too? Because having split rosters but an amalgamation McMahon rule is kinda dumb, hope that plus the Wild Card bites the dust.
Shame they forced Paige out earlier this year and put her in a diminished capacity managing a women's team that hardly gets screen time, if the positions are now returning.
And will NXT talent be poached so soon after debuting on tv? Kinda playing with fire there, as far as attracting a new audience. That would lend to my theory that NXT is really meant to keep the NXT crowd from exploring their options and exploiting any lack of success to change up how their developmental is being run, into a more Vince vision.

Thank god! The wildcard rule was a trash idea, too many superstars for guys to be appearing on both shows

Pull the resets switch. Create completely brand new rosters and start fresh. I'm enjoying the product atm, but the whole roster set up is nothing short of a disaster.

Exclusive brands is the only thing that retains me as a viewer. I just can not watch a weekly product where I have to watch RAW/SD and follow so many stories. Just let me watch my Smackdown and follow those feuds in peace until the PPV!

Could have sworn I already posted this, but I'd go with...
Black, Andrande, Charlotte, Vega, & Finn to RAW Lashley, Revival, Zayn, Mysterio, & EC3 to SD Cesaro, AOP, & All of 205 Live to NXT

Thank god. Either fully enforce the brand split or don't. The halfway crap is ing stupid. Almost certain this means Becky and Roman end up on SD full-time. Maybe AJ/OC, too.

They never bloody stick to this so what is the point? It is a giant waste of time as the rosters are changed or merged shortly after.

I really don't see the point in another draft because I don't even know who belongs to which show. Honestly, besides a reset before the big Fox premier, this is a great reason to have a draft. Especially if it ends the wildcard rule. It makes me wonder witch report was correct: The networks wanted all the top stars on both shows or they wanted the brand split enforced. Maybe a miscommunication that led to the wildcard rule?

There will be other changes made in October to help freshen up the shows. you mean like fixing the horrendous camera work, terrible commentary and even worse backstage interview segments?

Good, i've always liked 2 separate brands with exclusive talent on each.
None of this 'Wild Card' bs, which hasn't been mentioned in months now, everyone just shows up.
Plus, i like a good draft, hopefully they strip both Raw & Smackdown entirely and redo everything so the rosters are actually different. (Though leave NXT as is but still include it in the draft)

Meh, maybe they will finally get it right this time and keep the draftees on the show they get drafted to.

Maybe a miscommunication that led to the wildcard rule? I always thought the wildcard rule was created because both networks wanted big names on each show. At the end of the day WWE can't do a flawless brand split. Even if they do push the reset button the split will still be on thin ice.

The rumors are they want a far more strict set of boundaries with the rosters. And that they want to present it like an actual draft with strategic moves involved.
I just hope they include NXT. It'd be a great way to move some talent there without it feeling like NXT is a dumping ground.

Smackdown is about to Purge Raw thanks to Fox, much like Raw did to Smackdown not to long ago

Honestly the rosters before the wildcard bs started were fine as is. Kinda sucks that we won't get to truly experience those rosters.
The only people who should be allowed to appear on both brands after this are the Women's Tag Team Champions, and the 24/7 Champion. Also I hope this doesn't end with Lesnar on Smackdown. I don't want him on Smackdown. I don't want him potentially holding the WWE title hostage. He can stay on Raw with that stuff.

The only thing I fear about them "including NXT" is completely reinventing their roster, losing all their top guys and ending up with a bunch of unused Raw and Smackdown guys. If they're to be involved, they should lose 1 or 2 tops.
