It's pretty common term used in every sport and can't see him actually winning.

He wouldn't have any issues if WWE were calling Charlotte "The Man".

The WWE and Becky Lynch are making money off "The Man" you say?!?! Ol' broke Nature Boy needs some of that too!! Gotta pay the ex wives money still, and find enough money to get back the NWA Title that he put into debt years ago!

Is Flair that hard up for money? I don't see him winning. The only way i could see him winning is if he had it trademarked before WWE started using "The Man" for Becky Lynch. Other than that, no way Flair wins this case. I would not surprised if we hear Conrad is helping Flair with the legal bills. Wouldn't even be shocked if he talked Flair into doing this

I believe Flair has his catchphrase “To be the man...” trademarked which I think is why he thinks he is owed royalties for the nickname. He’s not gonna win this fight.

I love Flair, but every time he goes to court, it usually ends up with him owing money.

Is it just me or does it seem like Flair has a habit of making a big deal over old news? Becky has had that nickname for well over a year and he just now starts making an issue about it. A few months ago he was talking crap about HBK in regards to a comment he made in a documentary a couple years before.

I hate seeing this kind of thing. Ric has seemed particularly not well since his last hospital visit. He’s an icon of the highest caliber but I wish his financial situation was different than how it’s turned out.

Tom Brady tried to trademark "Tom Terrific" and was denied Lebron James is trying to trademark "Taco Tuesday" which I'm sure he will be denied Ric Flair trying to trademark "The Man" will also be denied

As so many have pointed out on twitter, imagine if Buddy Rogers trademarked “The Nature Boy”

Ric Flair: "To be the man, you gotta beat the Man."
Becky Lynch knocks out Flair setting up Charlotte vs Becky Lynch in a different light. Add some early 2000's alternative rock music and some highlights and you got yourself a PPV promo. Yw WWE.

What bothers me about all this is how Ric has openly talked before how they've bailed him out with money on more than one occasion. And how good Vince & Hunter have been to Ric and his family over the years. So IMO, it's not worth risking the relationship over this.
